The best restaurants serving British food in Scarcliffe Bolsover East Midlands

Our first visit to this restaurant and it was excellent. Inside, it was really cosy with a real fire in the bar area and lovely drapes in the main restaurant. As it's Xmas, there were pretty Xmas trees dotted about. There are a variety of either round or rectangular tables to sit at. The staff are welcoming and the service is good. The food was excellent with very good menu choices. It was so good that two of our party booked in for Xmas 2025. Will definitely be visiting again

Not been for about 1 year. Today went for Sunday lunch. Had a drink in the bar before going to our table. Had the roast beef (pink). It was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Couldn’t fault all the accompaniments. Ordered cauliflower cheese as an extra and it was so flavoursome. Me and my husband always rate places with “if it’s better than we cook at home then it’s worth going back” and we will disunity be going back. It was a lovely dinner, I didn’t have room for a pud. All staff lovely and very friendly.
