The best restaurants serving Asian food in Eastbourne South East

In my opinion Overated, overpriced , won't be returning

We have eaten there before on our last holiday in Eastbourne and we were not disappointed. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food tasted just delicious. The service was fast and portions were big. We will definitely come here again.

Excellent food and friendly service. It beats anywhere we’ve been to in Chinatown, London. Not overpriced either! Can’t wait for our next trip to Eastbourne and a visit to Mr Hau’s.

Went here a couple of months ago (sorry for late review) for a friend’s birthday. Group of 10 of us. At the very start, we each had to order our drinks and food and pay for it. Waitress took our order and money 1 by 1. This took her 35 minutes! We waited… and waited for our drinks. We couldn’t find a member of staff to chase them, so everyone went to get their food. The drinks finally arrived 40 minutes after we ordered. Most had finished their meal by now. Most of the food was simply ok. The tofu was disgusting and inedible. For anyone who knows about tofu, it was in cubes but like it hadn’t been pressed or cooked. It’s was just raw slimy cubes. Two of us left that whole dish. Vegan meals took about an hour to come out. Throughout our time there, we weren’t checked on once - not to ask how everything is or if we wanted more drinks. None of us will return.

I decided to book the karaoke booth which is on the upstairs of the restaurant. The price was only £25 for the hour regardless of how many people so that attracted me as many places charge per person. I am so glad so I booked it! The karaoke booth was amazing and was far enough away from everything that you totally forgot you were in a restaurant. Cocktail range was great and only £8.99 each! A wide variety of songs to choose from too. I will definitely be recommending it to people. Was perfect for my 30th birthday with my friends.
