Absolutely incredible staff and drinks! Couldn’t recommend enough! Norwich has been dying for a bar like this, so glad it’s finally here

My husband and I called here for a drink Saturday evening on the way to eat out somewhere nearby, with another couple. The football crowd had left, pleasant surroundings with just the right amount of people to make a good atmosphere. What was bizarre was that the staff insisted on serving our drinks in plastic glasses. We questioned this, and said that all other tables we could see had proper glasses, but were told they’d booked tables to eat and were allowed proper glasses. Crazy, as we sat on a table in the middle of other tables, all with proper glasses!

What's the point in during your reservation you ask where you want to be sat to then turn up and be offered the exact opposite of what you booked? Not only did I not book a high chair table due to a family member just having surgery we were then placed in the cold and complete lack of atmosphere conservatory. The server was rude and frosty towards us and quite frankly ruined my husband's birthday meal. I was looking forward to this but I cannot recommend this place any less now.

It was very cold in the restaurant, some of us wore coats and scarves to eat.The food was tasty but a little on the cold side. The service was the top service I've had in Norwich recently. Guy was funny, attentive and we knew we were a nightmare table (big family of 11) but he didn't let it show once. Some members of our party are SEN and we also have an allergy so as a professional server I was highly aware that we were difficult but Guy made the effort to remember everything and was patient with us all. Overall a positive experience

Burger bun stale. Garlic bread stale. Pizza poor (just like it came from the supermarket frozen section). Server not really bothered when I reported this. Won’t return.

They took their vegan waffles and crepes off the menu which was a shame, but then don’t answer messages on any platforms or calls when I try to find out why.
