My daughter had an amazing birthday meal here today, we were looked after by Jimmi who was both hilarious and efficient. He went out of his way to make everything superb! Having worked in the hospitality industry, I’m so impressed with his go to positive attitude. Can’t wait to come back and hoping Jimmi will be here!!

Went here for a family meal to celebrate a birthday. It was very noisy music to the point that you couldn't hear what the servers were saying. The service was slow, and despite letting them know at the time of booking and ordering that someone in the party was high risk and needed the food out immediately so it was hot. When the food was brought out, it was barely warm, and there were things missing from the orders. Orders brought out had different items to what were orders, i.e., chips when salad was ordered. Refillable drinks were ordered, but this was pointless as they were very difficult to get refilled. We asked a server who told us we needed to speak to our server! This would have been fine if we had actually known who our server was meant to be as the person who had taken our orders wasn't actually our server. The was also a member of staff who, when asked to clean the booth near ours that had just been vacated, had a temper tantrum throwing her cleaning cloth and bottle of cleaning fluid into the booth from a distance in what appeared to be angry defiance of the person who had asked her to do this. This is not somewhere we will be going back to anytime soon.

We’ve just finished a lovely meal here for our daughter’s 9th birthday. We were served by Mia and she couldn’t have be more kind and attentive. We would definitely return just to have her serve us!

Me and my boyfriend came here for a dessert in the evening. When we arrived, we were seated rather fast but the music was unbearably loud where we could barely hear each other talk. We saw online that there was an offer for a free dessert with the app so we asked our server about this when ordering. He then proceeded to say, “so you’re just here for the free dessert?” In a very judgy and rude tone, and then walked away, without even taking our menu’s or saying anything else. He then proceeded to pass our table to another waitress who was much more polite. He also didn’t clarify to us that the offer was only available with a main meal item. The portion size was tiny for what we were paying and it was sat on the side for 10 minutes before anyone brought it to us even though the restaurant was near enough empty with servers just standing around talking. Very unhappy with this experience and definitely would not recommend to others.

Server - Amelia Came for bottomless brunch last Saturday for my partners birthday and it was lovely, food and drinks were wonderful and definitely worth the price. Amelia was lovely and helpful and always checked up on us through the night. We were a little late leaving our table on time but they had no issues with this!

Shockingly disappointing! The food was cold for starters and then the mains didn’t come out how we wanted. As people who had specifically asked for things to not be included to have them included was just a demonstration of poor service! Clearly the management need to take some good steps to fixing things! Review your DM team and head office. Review your GM. I expect better standards from a long lasting brand.

Love TGI Norwich, the team are fantastic and the food is lovely! the manager Eddie is fantastic knows every cocktail under the sun, and the servers are so happy and friendly All the staff could not be any more helpful in drinks refills and how attentive they aree The food is incredible - if it has JD sauce on it then I eat it all :) The cocktails are also fantastic Really great place for a family meal or couples, or just some cocktails and nibbles at the bar I always get a TGI on deliveroo too so I can enjoy it at home Thanks TGI for lots of lovely meals with you!

Service was slow, my order was wrong and the table i was seated at hadnt been cleaned properly

Was given the wrong food, then given the right food in a terrible condition. Complained politely to a manager and their attitude was disgusting. In the end we counted our losses and left without eating due to the service and quality. Really horrible experience in all aspects. Good luck to whoever tries here next.

Quite possibly the worst meal I’ve had my friend and both ordered his meal was missing items and mine was burnt awful service on the paid over £70 I don’t think it’s was worth £20 all together we had to get something else after I won’t be returning

Our food arrived cold as if it had been sitting on an ice pack which is a shame as it looked lovely and felt the taste would have been great if it wasn’t really cold. One burger was inedible due to hardiness, again which is a shame.

Couldn't fault the service as a table we received in TGIs but other servers galavanting around with balloon swords trying to flirt with customers seemed desperate. And the food was absolutely dreadful and definitely not worth the money. Cold sesame chicken strips, a cremated chicken burger and cold chips, a nigh on £30 steak that was 90% gristle, so much so a sauce was flung across the floor whilst trying to cut through it. All this was topped off with a piece of plastic found underneath a burger on another dish. I would say the atmosphere was great, but we could barely see, stuck in dark hole with very little lighting that seemed to get worse as the meal went on. No wonder this chain has gone into administration, the sooner it disappears the better, as the lacklustre experience we received solidified the lack of care and quality from a once much loved restaurant. I will add a positive, our server was lovely and most apologetic. Kudos to her, but she can do so much better with her career!

Seated quickly, food delivered, left to eat, no return to refill drinks. Restaurant was cold. Ignored by server, finished meal, waited over 15 minutes for anyone to notice. Server was ignorant (James A), had to ask for the bill which was just dropped on the table. No enquiry as to if we had enjoyed our food. The food was overpriced for the quality, strange taste to garlic bread, fries over salted. Not value for money at all. I have sent my feedback as requested. Thanks.

The employees have a kind soul and their behavior is nice. They were very cheerful, and even when an order was very late, the manager presented it to us and did not calculate it in the invoice out of responsibility.

Over priced food and beer . This is meant to be a family restaurant I feel they out priced there food for family’s now. Years ago these guys where great value for money

Great place for a family get-together or celebration

Jimmi, Eddy and Adam at Norwich riverside, they were absolutely amazing, made my whole day & evening. Making sure we were topped up on our bottomless brunch, giving us cocktails we have never had before. Fantastic staff, top notch atmosphere. All round worth while! Thank you guys, you’re the best! :)

Me and my mum went here today for cocktails and nibbles. Some people behind us were making complaints about the food and the service... I can honestly say everyone working there has a very good attitude and they are all very polite and friendly. Carl ( The manager ) handeld the situation extremely well. And he looked after us amazingly. I would highly recommend coming here when you get the chance. Ps Carl's the best manager ever 😆

Nice food but incredibly overpriced, £74 for one starter, two mains and two drinks felt like a slap in the face compared to other restaurants in the same area and conveniently couldn’t use a military discount on a bank holiday , the one day most people with a blue light/ military discount would like to go out a use it on there day off

Absolutely terrible 25 mins to get served , 60 mins for food , place is understaffed and bang average food ridiculously over priced and small portions left there still hungry , I wouldn’t eat there again even if someone paid me

Had a great time as per usual, always get the sesame chicken strips and they never fail. Service is always great, we had Charli and she was very attentive and helpful. Jack also brought us over our food and said he would bring us more of our strips because the plate wasn’t very full. Had a really good time and will be back soon. :)

Booked without checking prices as website didn't seem to have any on the menu. Food was nice, but expensive for what it is. Paying almost £20 for the cheapest burger and fries. Family meal out and 4 mains with 4 drinks just short of £100 (3 of 4 drinks were soft). Table and booth felt sticky, so I was not sure of cleanliness. Server's were polite and food did come out in good time.

First the good points. The burger I had was really tasty. The fun stopped there though. The prices are astronomical. £4.50 for an 80p can of Dr Pepper. £9.50 for a non alcoholic cocktail. Let's think about that for a minute that's fruit juice and ice? An alcoholic cocktail £16. Get out of here!! It took 45 mins for the two burgers to arrive one with a salad and one with chips. The chips looked like they were the dregs out of the fryer. The waiter even said they looked awful and said he'd order some more. They never turned up... The place itself - tired - the menus looked like a puppy had been chewing on them. The seats, table, and floor were sticky even after cleaning. For the prices they were charging I'd have expected something a little more in point but sadly it missed the mark on so many levels. I re-iterate the burger was nice everything else was a let down. Upshot of this - I won't be going to TGI Fridays again, and that means any TGI Friday so this one poor restaurant has tainted the rest of the business for me.

What an absolute dump! We came here for an early dinner and the whole place was dirty and unclean. The food was awful, expensive and small portions compared to a lot of similar style restaurants locally. The burgers were tasteless ( I've had better from mcdonalds), the sides with the food were just as bland and even the 2 for 1 cocktails were dreadful. I wouldn't waste your money on this awful chain which seems to have gone down hill massively over the years.

Would never recommend this place to anyone. I was massively disappointed with the bottomless brunch for my birthday, the cocktail drinks are horrible and cheap, lacking alcohol and high amounts of sugar/juices. I don't think I've ever come away from a bottomless feeling unsatisfied and sober, the food was better. I would say that the staff were friendly but I felt perhaps lacking in quantity as the waiter would then be making the drinks themselves. I felt ill soon after leaving, having to go to bed as soon as returning back. Then feeling ill still the next morning, struggling to keep food down me which then ruining my planned day.

So sorry this is late. In March my daughter turned 18. Eddie who was so kind to come in on his day off made my daughter experience so memorable. He showed her how to make cocktails and techniques with the cocktail shaker etc. He was so accommodating, thank you Eddie. I had no idea how well trained TGI staff, especially the bar staff are. Thank you again

Came here for bottomless brunch to celebrate husbands birthday. Unfortunately it was probably the worst bottomless brunch we've ever experienced. The service and food were fine but the drinks (cocktails) were awful - Cheap tasting and mostly fruit juice filled with sugar/syrups, would not go back.

Food was the worst I’ve had in a long time…table was dirty, menu was stuck together and had food and drink all in it! Place was grimy tbh, overpriced food and drinks. Burger was burnt…steak was mainly fat…the rest was inedible…9.95 for 4 mozzarella dippers!!All of our glasses were dirty…found old dried up fruit on the ledge next to my table!! Place is a joke and very poorly run…will defo not be back..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The food is decent American Diner style. I had the baby back ribs and they fell off the bone, and the corn ribs were really nice too! The chocolate fudge cake is a little too sweet for my personal taste, but I'm sure others would like it. I was given great service by Mia, supported by the rest of the team, who was friendly and attentive and made me feel welcome.
