A lovely relaxed evening with great food. We managed to avoid the rush by getting in later. Our waitress was Mia - great customer service and energy! Thank you, we will be back

Just dinned at TGI Fridays Norwich and it was excellent. Our waitress, Mia, was very welcoming and polite with a speedy service. Food was excellent for both myself and my partner which were accompanied with a cocktail (Multiple). I would highly recommend visiting if you haven’t already, great for any occasion!

Very poor service, no order taken for about 20 mins and when drinks were ordered they took an additional 20 mins to arrive. Food was decent but very expensive for what it was. Wouldn't go again.

I visited tgis on Sunday with my brother, haven't been in years and we used to love it so thought we'd grab some filling decently priced food. Service was good, but I was so shocked at the quality versus the price of food. We ordered 2 strawberry daiquiris, it was 2 for 1 on the cocktails but we're still charged 16 pounds for them. I thought maybe they hadn't put the 2 for one on, as I have never even seen a strawberry daiquiri for 16 quid in central London, but apparently that was the correct cost. We didn't finish them (brother got halfway through, I had three sips) as they were absolutely awful (and I'm not fussy with my alcohol!). Got a couple of cokes instead. For food my brother had a chicken burger which he said tasted of nothing until he covered it in the jackdaniels sauce (which is always great). The burger was over 26 pounds?! And the tiny pots of sauce we were also charged for which was never the case before? He had no sides. I had one side and a starter. Mozzerella dippers were fine, but the garlic bread side was dry so I also covered it in the sauce and ate it anyway. Total food cost: £41.25. Total sauce cost to make that food taste of something: £5.16. Total cost over all £70.14. That might be a standard price when I'm going out for a fresh Italian with a friend with both of us having main courses and good wine, but not for one starter, one main, one side, two cokes and cocktails we didn't end up drinking. I've never written a complaint before but after eating there and then going to the westherspoons next door for a wine to recover and seeing their strawberry daiquiris were two for 8 quid and actually looked like a slushy daiquiri (like the pictures in tgis) not just room temp very strong red liquor with two ice cubes made me so mad! Quality has definitely bombed since the last time I was there, price has rocketed, but at least Mia the server was lovely.

As the prices are over priced, drop the prices by 15%, them the atmosphere would improve dramatically. Visited on 7th April 2024.

Went to TGI Fridays Norwich on a Sunday evening. We were seated quickly, our server (Mia) was friendly and really helpful, and the prices were reasonable. No complaints, would happily come back again.

We selected two beers from the menu, neither were available (Budweiser and Birra Moretti), and pink gin, which also wasn't available. We ordered brownies for dessert, but they weren't available. The table staff didn't ask us once if we wanted another drink, so we went to the bar to order, and were treated like we shouldn't be there. Our server seemed more interested in a table that contained his friends. I don't imagine TGI will last much longer in Norwich, considering the closures elsewhere.

Went in just after lunchtime for my grandaughters 4th birthday. The toilets were disgusting to start with which was off putting. Waited a while for food to come out expecting it to be hot but was tepid . Could deal with the food quality if the price was right but extortionate prices for everything. My daughter was a regular there but she said that's her last time now as food is expensive and not as nice. It was my 1st time there and definitely my last. I think the only reason we went there was so they could do the birthday song for my grandaughter . Only 2 members of staff did this and she was happy with that, but as for the rest that's a big NO THANK YOU

When we arrived our table wasn't ready so they asked us to wait at the bar which was fine however, the bar staff didn't even acknowledge us for the 20 minutes we was waiting. When we finally got to our table there was food all over the seating and floor. Even when we ordered our food took nearly an hour to arrive and even when it did it was bland and my kids food was stone cold. No Cutlery or napkins given, when we asked, we had to wait another 20 minutes for someone bring us some. Overall I will never be returning again absolutely appalling and over priced. Do not recommend!

Really disappointed with TGI's Norwich today! Me and my partner have been going for 5+ years now and it was our favourite place to eat, always absolutely loved the food and the service TGI's Norwich always gave. But today we went for my partners birthday and was served by Lilli-Ma and just felt like she didn't even want to be there. The whole restaurant just had this odd not welcoming feeling to it and that's not how this place used to be like. On top of this my sesame chicken that I always get and love came just not tasting the same and without the pot of sauce you always used to get on the side and the most smallest side salad I have ever seen like they were running out, as well as this my little girls children's meal burger came burnt and missing the fruit and salad part it said it comes with on the menu. Really disappointing meal in all honesty and not impressed TGI's Norwich, really let us down today, I am not one to moan and post negative feedback but this had to be said. 😔

Service was painfully slow and lacked any awareness or desire to clear our table after mains. Desert didn’t arrive til we asked after 30 minutes and complained after 45! Our deserts had been waiting on the counter the whole time which they then served without thought (ice cream had long since stopped being ice cream!). They blamed the app to try and hide their poor service. And to top it off, the toilets were disgusting and the music was way too loud! The food we did get was ok. Burgers were decent but the ribs (with TGI glaze) and salad (just a quartered gem lettuce with diced tomato and onion) were almost completely devoid of flavour. We got a refund on desert but no other attempt to salvage or compensate for an utterly disappointing visit. Never again!

Went on a date night with the wife. Then on to odeon Well let’s say won’t be going there again Will hence the staff were wonderful music was extremely loud. That u had to shout at each other The food was shockingly over priced. And my glazed burger n chips so was my partners chicken burger n chips were luke warm. Normally I would have sent it back. But after waiting 40 mins to get the food delivered to the table. (The table next to had arrived after us ordered and ate and left before we got our food) And the cinema starting. We had to just eat and run

We had a fun experience at TGI Friday’s! It is by far one of the best chain restaurants in the UK - it’s retained a certain style with its interior decor and the food and service are of a high standard! Our server, Frasier, was super helpful and friendly, the service was prompt and we couldn’t fault it! Thank you so much! It was truly excellent. Just to note, the music could be less nightclubby to match the classy decor and excellent service. Overall, a slice of American delight in our very own Fine City!

I'm writing this review a day after visiting this place and I'm still in shock at how underwhelming the whole experience was. Whilst the food didn't taste bad it was the most expensive burger I've ever had in my life whilst simultaneously being one of, if not the smallest, I've ever been served in my life. Just look at the picture and tell me that a brioche bun with a piece of chicken that doesn't even fully cover its surface, and a few shy slaw pieces underneath are worth 19.60 - ah sorry, there's also a few fries cut from, I kid you not, one medium-sized potato, and the 2 tiny-ass chicken chunks at the top - how artsy. No bacon, no pickle, no hash brown, no egg - nothing that would justify this ridiculous price. And the portion size is so small you'd give it to a starving African child and they would still be hungry afterwards. There are expensive places around Norwich but at least they offer something special/unique or do foreign cuisine - the most foreign thing about an establishment serving burgers and chicken wings was my Polish ass there.
