A good establishment, very cool decor. Food was tasty and arrived promptly, would reccomend.

Excellent if you like cheese sauce, they seem to put cheese sauce on everything. I don't like cheese sauce. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Apart from the cheese sauce, you get what you'd expect American style food in massive portions. Service was quick and the waitresses know the menu.

Quick service, great food and very good service. We had not booked we walked in and was shown instantly to a very nice table. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive even though the restaurant was quite busy. Will definitely go again.

Portion sizes are great, burgers were alittle dry and didn’t contain pickle like it said which I was craving! But still tasted okay. But usually a big fan of fatsos lovely food

Decent food at a decent price and good service!

Delivery time was changed to a later time. Wedges hard, mushrooms tasted awful! Like tinned mushrooms.

Food was ok but luke warm. Not as good as we remember from years ago. Was placed on a table next door to a mouthy bloke swearing loudly with his son. Nice way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Didn't even have our anniversary acknowledged by staff despite my husband letting them know when booking so felt very un-special sorry to say. Burgers were slightly overcooked and prawns tasted on the warm side and curly fries weren't overly hot. Dessert didn't blow us away either. Noone came over to check if everything was ok. All in all a disappointing experience so won't be returning. Zak's is much better!!

We walked in without a booking and although they were fully booked that evening they did find us a table. Food was superb as was the service. I would definitely book next time.

It's a nice place to hang out with family and friends. The meal portions are a lot and you can have it taken away if you're full. Lol. The service was great, and the personnel was willing to help and be friendly. I enjoyed my meal and will visit again soon.

First visit for us and we couldn't have been more impressed! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside was that we were so stuffed from our mains we couldn't manage any of their amazing looking desserts!

We visited yesterday 6 of us, the service was faultless, the food was so disappointing, as a youngster we always went to fatsos for birthdays and the food was fantastic (great Yarmouth) restaurant! I will never step foot in fatsos again, we would of got better in spoons and half the price

We all enjoyed the food we ordered. Plenty of space and an outdoor area with play area. Very pleasant staff.

Nice and quiet on Sunday afternoon, plenty of carparking. We were quickly seated and our order taken soon after. The food arrived hot and it arrived quicker than expected! Tasted delicious 😋

I was very disappointed (having done some homework & checked which food was nut free on the menu). I was told my food would be cooked in oil that may have traces of nut in it. Like most other restaurants, why don’t they have a small fryer or pan ? ready to cook for people like myself with clean oil in it. We were also sat on top of a loud speaker so it was hard to have conversations between us and the waitress who was really trying to help.

I decided to try Fatso’s for my birthday and was extremely underwhelmed and slightly disappointed. I went with my mum who has a peanut allergy, my Dad, wife and 3 year old kid. The restaurant was well presented a little dark and dingy but it was okay. We were seated by a really loud speaker so it was hard to chat. I had written on the booking that my mum had a peanut allergy and called before hand to confirm. My mum ordered a fish dish from the menu that was supposedly nut free however was then told by the waitress that Although the food was peanut free it’s cooked in an oil that may contain nuts… after going back and forth with the waitress (who really was trying in all fairness )my mum gave up and ended up having a burrito. Personally I think it’s strange that a dish that is supposed to be nut free is cooked in oil that may contain nuts… even stranger that the chef / cook couldn’t whip out a frying pan and just use another oil. There didn’t seem to be any problem solving and it just didn’t make sense. The Burrito she had looked really good and she did end up enjoying her food after feeling pretty upset to start with. She did then order a cup of tea. Which was served with … two pots of UHT…… UHT in a restaurant ? These two pots were tiny and my mum loves a strong tea but not even Eddie hall is as strong as the tea she had. The tea was darker than my sense of humour. I was pretty amazed at A) the fact a restaurant isn’t serving fresh milk in a Jug… B) that any restaurant that isn’t McDonald’s or a roadside job is servicing UHT ( baffled, the stuff is disgusting) and C) if it’s coming out that dark why they aren’t giving enough of the disgusting UHT? I had a chicken burger with sweet potato fries and a bit of coleslaw. It was okay but genuinely a bit boring really my plate was literally a burger, some sweet potato fries and a tiny bit of coleslaw lobbed on. My dad had the scampi and Chips. It was okay but I’ve seen better in Wetherspoons for less. I can’t remember what my wife had but she seemed happy. My little boy was happy with his food. The deserts were very good. My dad and I had the Mint sundaes which were very good value and very tasty. My mum had chocolate cake with ice cream… again good value for money.the kid had some vanilla ice cream with a wafer and that looked good and my wife was happy with hers so all round the deserts were good. My dad, my wife and I had the ginger beer which was served as organic ginger beer 250ml which is about two mouthfuls and not really value for money. I also had JD and coke. That was good. All in all I would say that it wasn’t great value for money. The issue with peanut allergy put a downer on it. The UHT just made it look like a cheap cafe. The speaker was a bit annoying but we got unlucky with the seating. The waitress was lovely and tried very hard. so only have good things to say about her or any other the waitresses there who all seemed lovely. I’m sad to say I don’t think I would ever go back. I really was hoping for a good meal but it was genuinely just “okay” and if I want that I can go to a lot of places and pay a lot less.

Was shown to our table straight away, staff were friendly and attentive, food was served quickly and very hot. I could not fault anything this evening. We even noticed a problem with the bill which was rectified immediately with no question. Recommend a visit.

Lush random night out for dinner! Good food, great service, was just let down by some “youth diners” swearing a lot in the dining area. Couldn’t fault anything else! 💙

Initial thoughts service was super quick drinks and food. I particularly appreciate that I was apparently identified as a fussy eater as I got rid of lettuce and mayo so they put my coleslaw in a separate container without being asked. Burgers were great.

I have visited Fatsos nearly every year for my birthday since I was a kid. I didn't intend on going this year, but driving past it along my root, well I couldn't just drive by. The food as always was a big portion, great taste and cooked to perfection. Service was a tad slow but these things happen at times so I won't go on. Really well priced. Never an issue at all really.

Saddens me to have to write a new review. Our first visit here 8 months ago was so good. We even had a Christmas meal here with family. Last week we returned, not a good experience at all. The staff were good no fault to them but the food, my gosh, terrible. So we ordered, 3 minutes later our drinks arrived. We were just pouring our tea & the food showed up, only 5 minutes after we ordered?! So the food is not fresh to order, it must have been sat around waiting to be plated up. Our food was lukewarm. We were asked how our food was but we both had our mouths full so could not reply. I dare say we won't be returning in the foreseeable future.

Went at lunchtime so it was a bit quieter than it normally is I'm sure. The food was fantastic, and the service was quick. The staff were all brilliant. I would highly recommend a visit.

Great place for lunch, the food is just a simple affair but really good and portions are generous if that's your thing. Not really in to fine dining & stuck up snobbery therefore, this place is ideal, just sit down, order , eat relax, done!!....Never very busy during the day so love that. Staff are friendly & helpful & value for money is pretty good here.

Staff were nice enough but the food was very poor. Burgers were dry as anything, tasted like the patty’s had been held in a hot hold or under a food lamp for a good half hour. When paying nearly £18 for a burger, you expect better.

Only went for drinks on this occasion but food is always great. Will definitely go again.

Was really nice to go out and eat somewhere where the portion sizes are really generous! Kids got a huge pizza each and a desert as part of the kids meal, we got really good quality food and lots of it. Couldn't recommend more

Fatsos has such a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The customer service is always outstanding, even if it's crazy busy I've never had a bad experience here. The food is always amazing, filling and delicious. Ranges from American and Mexican dishes. I am always impressed with the kind, helpful, efficient and accommodating staff. The service is 5*

My daughter choose here for her birthday dinner last night and wow we all thought it was brilliant! Very impressed with everything....the staff, service, food, drinks all really good! I haven't been to Fatso's since they were on Prince of Wales Road and with 3 children who all love a burger I'm not sure why!! We'll definitely be back!

Sunday evening dinner for family of five to celebrate husbands birthday. Having been to a well known pizza restaurant recently (!) where we were very disappointed with the online ordering - difficult - we super appreciated the speedy polite waiting staff who took our order. Food and drink came out in a timely manner and was delicious hot and filling. I also noticed staff cleaning other tables and resetting as soon as customers had left which I also think makes a good impression. We will definitely book again

Expensive for families but can be a nice treat. Very cold in the restaurant I'd bring a duvet next time. 7 out of 10.

Was ringing around all surrounding restaurants but they were full…. Ring fatsos available, well this should’ve been the first option to begin with! Food hot and tasty. Staff were exceptional. We will definitely return very soon!

Firstly, the waitress service was absolutely wonderful, hard working and attentive, very good job done by front of house. Unfortunately it was downhill from there, the atmosphere was dingy and noisy with screaming children And the food was diabolical. I ordered the hotdog with cheese and bacon and Was presented with a warm ish boiled hotdog (I think canned) covered in processed cheese slop. The bun was soft and flavourless and the only redeeming feature was the bacon….. I won’t be visiting again.

We did not like this place. The service was poor. The waiting staff were not attentive at all. The food was HORRIBLE. I ordered the Philly steak sandwich, which was greasy, and the steak was just fat and gristle, which I couldn't eat. I mentioned to a staff member who didn't care. We will not return

Fatsos will offer a fairly average experience. The food will be average and the servers will be nice. Nothing will blow you away and you’ll have a mediocre meal. My friend had a burger he said was quite nice, I had the Philly steak which was lacking of sauce and lacking of flavour. The food is pretty cheap so it won’t hurt the wallet. If you’re stuck on places to eat tonight and fancy a bang average meal then Fatsos will do just fine.

Another great meal at Fatso's on 3rd Feb. The food is always and great value for money. The vegetarian/ vegan choices are really good. We were served by Romily, a great member of the Fatso's team. She, along with all the staff, is pleasant, friendly and efficient. I wish there was a way to tip staff individually as they work so hard. I would recommend Fatso's to everyone.

So today is the day my husband was ment to start his first shift (16/1/24). He went for the interview in Dec, got the job, shoock hands, got told to put his notice in at his previous job. Started to work his notice. A week or so before Christmas he got a TEXT message, yes your right a TEXT message to then say " sorry but the job is no longer available, blar,blar,blar and sorry for any inconvenience. Inconvenience!!!!! Bertie (the head chef at fatsos) knew that my husband has a newborn has now just made him put his notice in for his then current job but also taken away his new job!!!! Sorry but how are we now going to buy food for our baby but also pay the rent where our baby lives? He's now with no job and bills to be paid. Do any of your customers think it's acceptable? You may say why doesn't he stay at his previous job? Bit late by then. So another thing, if your about to go for an interview or to get a job, be careful, because people like that don't honour their agreements and are not proffesionls.

Good food American-style flavours. The Philly cheese steak was amazing, steak cooked to perfection and so tasty, but could have done with some more melted gooey cheese. The Chicago Club was full of flavour. The Sundaes are just as good. My only negative is the amount of fries that are served, just far too much and a waste for one person when half your plate is fries.

We made arrangements to go there for our daughters birthday. WHAT A DISASTER..it all started with drinks order they got wrong . Next we placed the food order it was supposed to be simple. My wife a I both ordered the hot dogs with curly fries. My daughter ordered a sirloin steak for her day meal . The hot dogs were brown from being out of date and tasted vile. They got the order wrong for my fries instead of curly I got normal fries. My wife's meal had coleslaw on it mine didn't. Our daughters steak was grissly and was like trying to chew on rubber. When we asked the waitress for ketchup ,her attitude was like we had asked for the world to stop spinning. Not once during the meal did they ever see if we was happy with the meal or wanted more beverages. During this time of our visit it came light that at another table they had been serving alcohol to someone under age. It was only when the revisited the table to ask for Id did it come to light they were not old enough. Our daughter was all dress up for her day with a big day badge on and not a single member of staff even had the decency to wish her happy day. Even when they came and collected the half eaten meals they did not even question if the food was OK. We did not say anything not wanting to upset our daughter on her day. Today I called and spoke with the general manager and filled a complaint to be said I was not here I need to look into this. I will call you back with in 2 hrs. I agreed 4 hrs later no call. I called back to get an up date and was told to busy to take my call. Can I give an email. So wanted to hide behind a computer screen. When I asked the manger on duty for the ladies name I spoke to she was reluctant to tell me. All she kept saying is she was the general manager. Let's see what the head office have to say. Avoid this place at all costs My wife and I have both been ill from this restaurant. Update: They have now been reported to the police And the licencing office for supplying alcohol to minors. I have also filed a formal complaint with the food standards agency as it seems numerous people have also complained about the poor quality and insipd taste of the food

Excellent food served quickly. Nice and warm on a chilly day. I had scampi with loaded fries and my son had rack of ribs with curly fries. Both plates were completely cleared. Staff were attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking near to the building.

The food unfortunately was cold when it turned up. I called the restaurant and the food was ready at 18:05 but didn't get delivered till 18:35. So it basically sat there getting cold. So we had to heat it up. The restaurant girl and delivery driver were both very polite. The food itself when heated up was good Just bad planning on the cooking and delivery side.
