Yellows Bar & Grill in Norwich

My husband and I called here for a drink Saturday evening on the way to eat out somewhere nearby, with another couple. The football crowd had left, pleasant surroundings with just the right amount of people to make a good atmosphere. What was bizarre was that the staff insisted on serving our drinks in plastic glasses. We questioned this, and said that all other tables we could see had proper glasses, but were told they’d booked tables to eat and were allowed proper glasses. Crazy, as we sat on a table in the middle of other tables, all with proper glasses!

Nuts as nibbkes were awful Calamari ok. Chilli sauce poor. Fish cakes ok, bit limp and peanut sauce tasted of spice not peanuts. Disappointing. Very nice staff. Would not hurry back

Atmosphere and staff were brilliant. First time we had been here. Great selection of food, and cooked really well. Only thing that makes it a 4 star is one of the group (my daughter) has to have gluten free and whilst starters and mains options were great, only dessert option was ice cream, which was really disappointing, as would have expected more at this quality of restaurant.

Really lovely staff and great offering. Really enjoyed the chicken wings. Did an extra portion! Hubby was very happy. Good burger and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were only sorry we didn’t get the chance to leave a tip as had no cash! Will be back.
