No food available. Only us in there (Saturday lunchtime), pretty cups but handles are so tiny they were hard to hold!

Had a lovely Valentine's meal, I would recommend special events here, food was wonderful, cocktails excellent, decoration and ambience really made us feel special!

I’m here most mornings and their drinks are amazing- best flat white in Norwich, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, drinks are so reasonably priced and the place is so clean and aesthetic- lovley wooden tables and atmospheric music, there’s even a fire for the cold winter mornings.

I love The Surrey and it has become the only café I go to in Norwich on a daily basis! The drinks are delicious, especially the hot chocolate, and such a good price. The food always looks amazing. The staff make this such a nice place to come, everyone is so friendly and up for a conversation whilst making drinks too! So excited to come to the Quiz Night on Friday too.

I really like the ambiance of the space. It gives off a cosy vibe. It’s not a very big space but it serves the purpose. Went in for a meeting and it was just the right fit. I didn’t have anything to eat but my peers did and they said the bacon bap is great. Would recommend for cafe working, lunch or just a sit out.

Fab little cafe just a two minute walk from the bus stop in Norwich city centre! Lovely staff and atmosphere. Been here a couple times since the re open and new management and cannot fault them on a single thing! Coffee is amazing, food delicious (I recommend the pancakes or steak brunch!) and always served with a smile. 100% my now go to place

Went for some breakfast/brunch with the missus. Greeted by a lovely young man called Mark who was helpful throughout the service also lovely lady there who brought my dog several biscuits. Very tasty black pudding and chorizo hash consumed by myself and the missus enjoyed the full English. We'll be back for sure.

Took my date there for lunch on the way to visit Olivia's Enchantiments. The sandwiches where nice, the do meal deals, the coffee was excellent and they sell Coca-Cola I'm the old traditional glass bottles. Staff where lovely and the atmosphere in there was calming and welcoming.

My wife and I are now regular visitors of the Surrey Kitchen and it has become our favourite place for coffee and food in Norwich. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable seating (although when in groups of 4 or more the seating isn’t ideal as the tables are quite small) but for us two it’s perfect. The food is fantastic! The pancakes are great - fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth and lovely… but my personal favourite is the fry up, which for me is the best in Norwich. Just the right size, just the right price, and tastes awesome. However, the best thing about the Surrey Kitchen is the staff, who are friendly and attentive. They seem more like a family and are genuinely lovely people and one of the main reasons we keep returning. Special shoutout to Rosy, Holly, Morgan & Molly (as well as the chefs who I can not recall the names of - sorry!) . They make us feel welcome and special every time. The Surrey Kitchen also has a bar area and does quiz nights. The cocktails are awesome. :-) In conclusion, the Surrey Kitchen has won our hearts as local residents. It's a superb cafe with a comfy interior, the best-fried breakfast in Norwich, and a staff that's as lovely as can be. This cafe is a true treasure on our doorstep, and we will no doubt be back soon.

Lovely place for lunch, quiet but central. Plenty of space. Has gluten free options, but I am devastated to see that they toast bread in the same toaster as normal bread, so NOT suitable for allergies, coeliac disease, or sensitivities.

I go here daily for my breaks and lunches and get served by Holly nearly everyday, I love the friendly service and the great atmosphere I feel going here 😊

We booked The Surrey for an Engagement Party. The space was brilliant and easily accommodated 80 people. They have a great selection of cocktails which were made brilliantly by the girls behind the bar. The staff could not do enough for us to make it such a special night. Thank you. We will definitely be back again and recommending you to everyone.

Beautiful open space, friendly welcoming staff, quick and effective service

Excellent in every way AND the interior design is just right including the lighting which most restaurants have no clue about.

This has changed hands several times over the last few years but the current team look like they will make a good go of this. Had Brunch for which there was lots of choice at a reasonable price .. did have to wait a long time for the food when it didn’t seem to busy but worth the weight.. delicious and good portion size and clearly cooked fresh … coffee is good too.. will be back here

Fantastic little find...Food selection left me drooling before I'd finished reading the menu... Superb fresh pastries to munch on whilst relaxing drinking a first class cappuccino. My personal favourite being the Pancakes or the full English...Our new favourite place to eat whilst in Norwich. Close enough to city centre for shopping, yet far enough away from the hassle...

I was there twice during my vacation with my daughter and the service was great, very attentive to her. The atmosphere of the establishment is incredible and the food is something you don't see in that area! The torrijas and bread with tomato made me feel at home! And if you order something off the menu they are more than happy to do it! I will definitely return and recommend it!

The Food is absolutely delicious. It's become my regular place at the weekend for breakfast as they are so good! Lunch menu also very tasty! Great value for money and the staff are welcoming and friendly too. Highly recommended 👌

Had the most amazing Torrijas Toastie (French toast made into a toastie) at The Surry. Would definitely recommend considering the very reasonable price! Will be coming back very soon!

One of my favourite new places to eat in Norwich! Service, food and atmosphere are all spot on. Homemade fresh pasta is AMAZING and coffee is always perfect. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Great place with amazing food! The staff are lovely and friendly and there’s a good atmosphere. The food is outstanding - I’ve tried the veggie sandwich and the surrey bun (both amazing, I especially loved the rosemary butter on the surrey bun!) and I can’t wait to go back soon to try the torrijas!

Excellent, friendly service, good quality coffee, relaxing, clean environment and the tastiest steak ciabatta I’ve ever tasted . It really was that good!

Delicious food and friendly atmosphere!

Went in with my partner and the vibes of the place were just so calm and friendly and the food was incredible, we went back the next day because of this and were not disappointed! :)

Nice place to eat. Fried breakfast was very good as was the avocado on toast. The cheese and ham sandwich was packed full of cheese and ham but was very dry. Overall a nice place.

Excellent in all aspects. Four friends for breakfast, pancakes, avo on toast, brioche all were delicious . The pancakes in particular were great, very generous 3 large, freshly cooked pancakes, with fruits and yogurt. Staff very pleasant. We sat at the back and were able to watch the chef preparing the meals. Would definitely recommend.

Went for lunch, the bahn mi baguette was absolutely incredible. A real gem.

Came for breakfast after Run Norwich and was really impressed with the refurbishment. Nice and bright and airy with lovely decor. We both had the large, full breakfast, which was really good. Tasty produce and not greasy at all. Nice coffee too. Will definitely be back!

Super nice since they reopened, the staff are friendly and good menu with vegan options. Couple of things on the cooked breakfast could have been more colour on them but otherwise everything was very lovely and great decor/atmosphere.

Hidden gem of a café/coffee shop! Open from 7:30 weekdays and they have the most delicious pastries and sweet treats (I had the blueberry muffin which was divine). They also have excellent brunch options and great coffee. The aesthetic is rustic and beautiful and they have high chairs for the little ones. We had lunch there (their lunch menu starts from 11:30) and I had the baked Camembert and my partner had the meatball sub and they were both delicious! Staff were lovely too. 10/10 recommend.

Just opened June 2023 and it’s lovely the food and service is top rate!!! Will be back to try breakfast and can’t wait for beer on tap and the outside area to be open

Great quality food sold here, lots of healthy options, great variety of meals, small lunches and cakes sold here. Great drinks selection. Sells hot, cold and alcoholic beverages. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As of March 2021 place is still temporarily closed for renovation, not sure when they will be opening after covid restrictions are lifted.

Great food (my friend said it was the best club sandwich he’s ever had)! But a bit chilly as the radiators weren’t working.

From their 'life-saving' sausage and egg brioche, to their flatbreads and sausage rolls, the Surrey do a great job of food. All served with a smile, alongside either a delicious 'Strangers' coffee or well-earned pint. A regular throughout the week, The Surry is suitable for a quick bite or an evening's drinks with friends.

Popped in for lunch and had to wait for a table, (busy little pub) as we found out well worth the wait! Will hook a table next time! Food was hot, fresh & tasty. Staff were lovely even though they didn't seem to stop running around! Will definitely be back!!

I’ve been coming to this place for quite a while now. It’s great if you just want something small to eat like one of their amazing sausage rolls but you can also get great hot food and there is a wide range of drinks to also choose from.

I had a bacon Sandwich today on granary bread, and it was presented to me cut in four, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You could tell that good quality ingredients had been sourced and used. A perfect start to the day. Highly recommended with one of a variety of coffees on offer. 🤗

Great party venue for 50 to 100 people as you get the place to yourselves. Service was excellent and the decor smart, which made for a great atmosphere. Food and drink reasonably priced for an establishment not far from the city centre, so all in all I'd definitely recommend this place.

Surrey Street Bar and Kitchen is an "all-in" place that has every working breakfast, coffee in or out, lunch, dinner dining, prosseco parties, TV with beer or wine, or reading a paper by the genuine fireplace.Most notable are the Chefs who hand-make the dough for freshly prepared flatbreads- which are topped with tomatoes, cheddar, mediterranean, hot sauce, pesto chicken cooked in a genuine Pizza oven. Vegan options with vegan cheese are also an option.Hot sausage rolls, again made from scratch with hand rolled pastry and added ingredients, in chilli sauce and sausage meat placed in an oven were top notch.Staff inform me parties, with dining, are catered for with either presseco gin and tonic or wine. Beer on tap is also popular amongst drinkers of all background whetherr after work, or paper reading with pint in front of TV.

Called in on a shopping trip to Norwich, if you just want a snack you won't do better that the home made Scotch Eggs absolutely delicious.

Had birthday party here - great night - staff know what they are doing and just get on with it so you don't have to worry. Great atmosphere and food is delicious and many people attending commented on how good it was. Cater for all diets. Manager will help with suggestions for DJs and communication was good. Central location. Would recommend to anyone thinking of having a party.

The Surrey Bar and Kitchen, does a great menu with variety for everyone, all allergens and dietary requirements are catered for,, you can see and taste that the food is all homemade and fresh! I'v been here for a private 50th party aswell, which was well catered for and the staff were brilliant! Good atmosphere would highly recommend!!

A friend and I pitched up earlyish on a Monday morning for a coffee. It was super chilled in there which was brill as our meet up involved a very emotional convo. The girl behind the bar was really friendly too. Will defo be back.

Great place for an after work drinks

It's good to see this place back in business again. The previous incarnation worked well until a lack of Aviva staff resulted in closure. It's now better than before with a decent selection of beers and some great food.

Cosy and warm atmosphere, and really friendly service

Good place to have a drink, close to the center and with a very good quality-price ratio, although the bathrooms are not accessible for people with wheelchairs, and it is very cold in the bathrooms.
