The best restaurants serving American food in South Derbyshire East Midlands

It’s now Meaks. Some serious efficiency improvement would benefit this pleasant cafe. For example, customers queue at the front desk to place their order, but this person (singular) also makes the tea/coffee. So the queue gets priority but at the direct expense of the serving of tea/coffee. There has to be a better way of managing this. We waited 20 mins for a pot of tea for 2. It’s not that difficult. Tea Pot. Hot water & tea bag. Cups. Saucers. Milk. How difficult is that. I could make it in the time it’s taken to write this. Mentioned it to a waitress and the reply was ‘we’re busy’. Yes I could see that. This is not a complaint about the staff. It’s an observation on inbuilt inefficiency. Which could and should be sorted.

Brilliant food, amazing atmosphere and extremely hard working staff, huge potions! Will definitely be back again soon!

during our trips to pick district, we stoped at this location for 15 to have a tea, there was no signage shows clearly the parking is paid parking I have checked all google images and sataleght view but couldn't find anything, the entrance showed only it is a parking, that night was dark and we couldn't see anything, I redeaved a Parking Charge Notice and appealed but they hadn't accept it. Unfortunalty I have 2 hours distance to this location and I don't have time for it but definitely we should appeal again with independent appeals service (POPLA). Do not park hear at all, there are many other comments which tell the exact story, this is a daylight rubbery I had to pay £60 at the end.

Crap service. Allows the food to sit out waiting for delivery for 40 minutes, food was stone cold unedible. Rang the store and you get the same "ring Uber not my problem" common sense would be to ring Uber and complain your customers are recieving cold food not punish the customer. Awful

Stopped here on 11th July for my tacho break, wish I’d got further, thought I’d have a Starbucks caramel latte £4.50 for regular should of gone greggs £2.45 regunext door what a rip off never again no wonder staff sitting about bored no customer’s… then I thought I’d use my phone signal a joke WiFi joke, so won’t be in again… keep your coffee….
