Had a lovely weekend stay at the Greyhound Inn. Food was amazing, staff were very helpful and friendly, will definitely stay there again

Lovely Sunday lunch in a quaint little village pub. Typical prices for food and beverages but good quality. Will definitely return.

The landlord is not a nice guy at all, but the other staff, the food, the service were all great. Could also have done with putting the heating on, many tables of people were eating with coats on. Shame the guy in charge is such a foul idiot though. Really brings down the overall experience which would have otherwise been good.

Having not been to The Greyhound for a year or so, I was thrilled with our choice. Nothing had changed, everything was as good as before. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. Despite the restaurant being busy, Service was prompt and friendly and the food ( Steak & Kidney Pie / Fruity Chicken Curry ) was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended. We certainly won't leave it so long till we return

We booked for us to go for a Christmas meal through messenger on Facebook. Booking was confirmed and they checked two days before that we were still going. We turned up about 45 minutes before our meal booking and the pub wasn’t open. We waited and half an hour before we were due to eat messaged to ask when the pub would open. Message back was that the chef should be there and would check. Got to allotted time and still no chef. We ended up finding somewhere else to eat. Got a message over an hour later that the chef was there now and we could go there to eat!! A really embarrassing situation when I had arranged this for friends.

5 of us enjoyed a pre Christmas lunch. It was the Saturday before and a festive menu was on offer. 2 or 3 courses. The food was good. Turkey and trimmings for those that wanted it or several other corses. Two of us had a main.of a smoked trout filet on beetroot lentils. The waitresses were all very friendly and attentive. Slight gripe was that the food could have been warmer. As could the restaurant. Nonetheless an enjoyable meal.

Congratulations to management and staff for providing an excellent 18 hole par 3 course for members and guests. It was both testing and entertaining. Helps people hone their short game akills during this period of excessive and storms. Can't wait to play it again next week. Greens were Immaculate.

The beer has always been of the highest quality that all other pubs in the local can only aspire.Well done
