The best restaurants in Rossett Wrexham North Wales

Been going here for a few years , the food is delicious, staff are lovely too. I was very very sad to hear it's closing . Very sad the cost of food plus the electric,gas prices have gone through the roof. You will be missed. I'll be in before you close your doors.

Fabulous establishment hosted by the best landlord's Tom and Rose who go out of their way to make you welcome the food is excellent beer is wonderful the Guinness is great. Well worth the visit.

From the moment you walk in there is always a nice friendly welcome. We were a bit early for our booking but that was not a problem. Great menu choice and all our meals were delicious we especially like the small pudding and coffee choice.

Lovely pub serving well cooked, delicious food. Happy to make the journey especially to eat here as I have never had a bad meal.

Went to oskers restaurant with lunch club and there were steps were my partner and friend could not mange. We were told thay would put tables together at the bottom but did not four of us had to sit at the bar eating lunch not happy

An excellent choice. Malaysian ran, nice portion sizes. Good levels of meat in the dishes. Crunchy vegetables. Sauces great, not the salty/msg dishes you can find elsewhere. Cash only, only disappointing note.

Me and my family recently came to the Dog And Pickle and we’ll definitely be returning. The staff were very welcoming, food was delicious and we are looking forward to the new menu in the New Year after chatting with the lovely lady who served us.

The booking was continually messed up. Full payment was demanded well in advance and I can see why. I don't think anyone in our group would have felt happy to pay full price on the day. It was more like a poor school dinner than a restaurant meal. My main meal was served cold, the potatoes were inexplicably leathery. The "roulade" was dry. How long had it stood on the side sliced I wonder? The large slab of paté balanced on a chewy piece of erm...bread? (Was it bread? Had it been microwaved? How was it this bad?) was truly revolting. Unsurprisingly at no point were any of us asked if our meal was satisfactory. I would describe service as sullen. Will not return here again. Always unpleasant to give a bad review but sometimes these restaurants need calling out, because sometimes they really are stretching their customers goodwill beyond their limits.

First time here and very surprised and nice atmosphere. Food excellent and plenty full. Good choice on the menu and tastercard friendly too. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Will be coming back very soon. Would highly recommend for any special occasion.

Have now been half a dozen times and its the same every time - slow to take an order, slow to serve the food unbelievably slow to get a bill and take payment. The foods good, the prices are reasonable but with 5 staff in the place during our last visit and only 6 customers the poor service is the reason we now go elsewhere.
