The best restaurants in Diffwys and Maenofferen Gwynedd North Wales

Fantastic pasties, the owner Kurmang is very friendly and caring, my partner is in a wheelchair and couldn't make the step, but he came out and helped her with the order. We live on the Isle of Man, but will be back when we are next over visiting family.

The service was great, very friendly staff. The cod was perfect, the batter was light and not greasy, the fish fell apart. The chips were fairly average for a chippy. The battered sausage was decent, like the cod, the batter was light. The mushy peas tasted a bit watery. Overall, a better than average fish and chip shop.

Popped in for a coffee while touring the local area, very friendly staff, gave me a booklet of the area which was very helpful, would recommend.

Friendly local pub we attended to watch the rugby. Unfortunately no food on offer when we were there but prices reasonable very welcoming when we arrived and keen to give us advice about the local area. Would recommend

Ok-ish local pub with mainstream beers and a few local beers available in bottles. Would have loved more local drinks! Friendly landlord.

Visiting from London area and this has got to be one of the best authentic Bangleshi curry I’ve tasted from a restaurant!! Starter, Main and Sides 10/10! Great service from the waitresses and even better food. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Called here for a couple of kebabs. One Shish and one Doner. Must say they were generous and flavoursome. Must say things are different in this area, no yoghurt dressing or jalepenos, so we settled for mayonaisse and chilli sauce. Nevertheless, two good kebabs.

We had a great experience, the food was ready fast and on time and tasted so good. Lovely chair, would sit again. The choice was great and the staff were friendly!
