Loved this place went twice. Great local service and a nice full box of Fish and Chips. They have tea on the menu too. Highly recommended for mountain goers. Service was excellent.

Telephoned a big order yesterday 31/8/24 And I have to say we were all impressed with this chip shop, it was well worth the wait as we had a 20 minute drive to the shop and then back to where we were staying. We all agreed that it was better than our fish shop at home. Highly recommended and will visit again for sure.

Best fish and chips we have had in a long time. Batter on fish was lovely and crispy and chips were crispy and not soggy. Will definitely return 😍

We ordered Fish and Chips, Fish Cakes and Chips and Cheese. There was nothing left by the children which I think says it all. Recommend to anyone that wants to eat because they are genuinely tasty and they have other things like burgers.

We are staying at Quarry View Touring Park in Blaenau Ffestiniog and as it was raining decided to order fish and chips from Trish and Chips. We put the order in this afternoon with a delivery time of 5.45pm-6.15pm. The fish and chips were delivered at 5.50pm and they were hot and delicious. The delivery person was polite. We were extremely pleased with the ease of ordering, the speed and politeness of delivery and the taste and quality of the fish and chips. We will definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you 😊

I had small cod and chips. It was a very very small cod. The chips were a bit soggy. I have had better but also had worse. Nothing to rave about really. Good enough when you’re hungry.

We stayed locally in Tanygrisiau and called in here on our first night to save cooking. We weren't disappointed, lots of friendly staff, a great menu choice and very reasonably priced. We all had something different and it was all cooked fresh and to perfection. Highly recommended by us!

Went to this chippy as staying in the area and good reviews. I’ll start off with the good- cod was perfectly cooked with lovely crispy batter. Battered sausage was amazing, especially dipped in the sweet curry sauce. The not so good- I don’t get the rave about the chips. Absolutely no crisp to them. The mushy peas were disgusting!! I couldn’t eat them. They tasted watery and like no mushy pea I’ve tried before. Otherwise I’d recommend this chippy.

The food was awful, overpriced, soggy chips and not convinced it was cod, probably hake! I am sure you would find better elsewhere

After a long walk climbing Snowdon , we came back to our AirBnB and just around the corner from returning we noticed this Chip Shop next door to the Co Op. I must admit the staff were friendly and helpful and polite. The food was hot and delicious. If we are back in the area again il certainly drop by to grab another bag of chips. Thank you

Absolutely amazing food. The chips were to die for, generous portion and great service.

Food was OK. Chips were like traditional seaside chips, and I had chicken nuggets which tasted a bit funky. Definitely not similar to normal chicken nugget taste, however can be appealing if you have different food preferences. The lady at the front said that normal curry is sweet while 'Chinese curry' is spicy, so we got Chinese curry, however it was not spicy at all, not even in the slightest.

Don't know what has happened the last 2 weeks. The chips has gone downhill big time. The last 6 times I've been there I had to bin them..The chips were soggy and over cooked. Looked like they were yesterdays days chips been cooked again. I've waisted my money 😞 Sorry but I had to tell the truth. I won't be going there for a while until the food gets better. Back to the kebab 👍

We ordered 2 meals on Tuesday night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent and you get plenty of chips.. Would highly recommend eating from here. Pity we don’t live around here as I would be a regular customer. Thank you for your pleasant service

Fantastic chippy, the chips are exactly what you would want - both thick and fluffy, and thin and crunchy. The portions are generous and everything we've tried has been really good. It can get busy in the evenings though, so it's worth calling ahead with your order. We moved to the area earlier in the year and were really pleased to discover such a good fish and chip shop nearby. The staff are lovely, the food is always freshly cooked and delicious, and the menu is varied and great. Couldn't fault it, safe to say we are semi regulars at this point (like a lot of locals). I love that there's an app, so you can browse the full menu or order online. Would particularly recommend the crispy chicken strips

Nice chips and gravy. The sausage was nice, but your normal chippy sausage. The salt and pepper chicken was more southern than anything else, and the mushy peas quite watery, but other than that, very nice. 😋

Clean and good first impression sadly the food let it down. Chips clearly recooked,lots black spots from the old potatoes used. Donner kebab consisted of old very dry and hard donner meat with lettuce and onion in a box but no pitta bread no offer of sauce. No one in our family finished their meal. Overpriced but I guess they don't have much competition in the area.

The best fish and chips my whole family have had in a long time! Was still warm after collecting it and travelling 20 minutes back to where we were staying. If we’re back in wales we will definitely visit again!

Was expecting a lot from the reviews. We are on holiday so thought we would try it in the local village. It was alright. Chips were apparently a large definitely not! Kebab meat is cut extremely thick which I dislike. Salad was lovely and fresh as was the pitta bread.

Stayed at the Zip World Hotel and had limited food choices so searched the local options, Trish&Chips came up so dropped them a message to which they replied in seconds. Downloaded the App and ordered for delivery to hotel, food was lovely, service was excellent, definitely give this a try if your in the area. Only small issue was the app didn’t update but it arrived at the time quoted so just a small technical issue. Top marks 👌🏻

I visited Trish & Chips a few times whilst working in the area, in all fairness not a lot of choice in the town in the winter. The sevice was good and most of the food was OK, all In would say is avoid the pies, the microwave just turns them into a soggy tasteless mess.

Passing through on a hiking holiday and needed a delivery to the Airbnb we were staying at. Saw this place online and sent a message over Facebook enquiring about delivery. Response was near instant and they advised they do deliveries through their own app (impressive!). I was born and raised I'm a seaside town, but this was genuinely the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Awesome food, would definitely return if we were ever passing through again!

Fantastic takeaway in Festiniog. Lovely clean shop and friendly staff. Ordered online and collected in 20 mins. Nice benches outside to sit at. The food is lovely and very much worth a visit if your passing through! 10/10.

Great name for a fish and chip shop and the best fish around. The cod is to die for and the batter tastes amazing! The staff were very welcoming during our wet and windy trip to the town!! We will be sure to visit again when we are next in the area

Nothing either wrong or outstanding with the Cod and Chips etc we had, reasonably priced, portion size realistic and about right unlike some English chippies where they give you more chips than it's possible to eat. C19 screen overkill makes it a bit impersonal but...

Excellent service and great value, really enjoyed our southern fried meal boxes. Just as delicious as KFC but the corn on the cob was so much better.

After reading good reviews we were looking forward to having fish &chips from here. The fish was a bit bland and the chips tasted like they had been re-fried. Overall a bit disappointing
