Excellent place for a coffee and the owner has great knowledge on coffee. I’ve been going here for five years now and every time has been great would highly recommend to anyone.

Visitando Bangor y decidió visitar para la cena. Me alegro mucho. La comida era deliciosa y todas las guarniciones y acompañamientos eran excepcionales, especialmente el cilantro y salsa de chile verde / dip. También tuvimos un hombre encantador que nos cuidó muy bien. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

My first experience of Phoenix. This is a brilliant place, on the long Bangor High Street, but slightly hidden, being set back from the road. It has a large interior with amazing decorations. Many different styles of seating to suit different use expectations. The coffee is excellent. The food we had was very good - Farmhouse Pizza, and chicken kebab with a very tasty Turkish style mixed salad and rice. The service very friendly and the price was very reasonable, and in my view is excellent value. I saw they do a lot of Turkish style cakes and sweets - for my next visit. This is a good place to get food on Sunday when most of Bangor is closed. It is also a good place for a private chat or gathering and you do not want lots of background noise. It has high chairs and some toys for young children. I hear they hope to get a licence to sell wines and develop a more bistro style offering, which will be very welcome in Bangor.

I was just passing and really fancied churros so popped in. The churros and toffee sauce is amazing and you get loads! Will be visiting again soon. My husband had a chicken burger and salad , said it was delicious!

We have toast wherever we go. And you would think toast is toast. Not here! It was THE BEST TOAST ever. Honestly if the toast is that amazing, the rest of the menu must be out of this world. Not only that but the owner and staff are wonderful too :)

Visited this place last summer. Greek take on fast food, can only warmly recommend this place. Food was yummy and service kind and helpful.

Really good Chinese food here, lovely owner and really pretty interior. Definitely great options for vegetarians (peking veggie duck is amazing!) and the Chinese tea is fabulous. Wait time can be a little longer than other places but I feel like it’s worth it, quality food takes time to make.

Small, but a good selection of beers given it's size.

Acabábamos de llegar a Bangor ese día y seleccionamos este restaurante basado en las opiniones de los asesores de viaje. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos de inmediato. Había un gran grupo allí para su fiesta de Navidad que se sumó al buen ambiente. El servicio fue rápido y amable, y la comida estaba caliente y muy bien presentado. Quedamos muy impresionados con las alitas de pollo de sal y pimienta y el aromático pato crujiente. Incluso el arroz frito con huevo fue comentado como muy agradable por nuestros niños exigentes. La factura era muy razonable, y no dudaría en recomendar este restaurante - un gran comienzo de nuestra aventura Bangor!

I've just come back from Torna and it was so lovely. The food was excellent and the staff even better. I had an awful day but the staff went out of their way to make me feel so cared for, even offering to lend an ear when I looked like I needed it. I couldn't praise them more.

First time to eat in this restaurant and was surprised to be presented with two menus, a traditional Chinese menu and the normal menu. I was brave to try the traditional menu and didn't make mistake, it was the best Chinese food I had outside of Chinatown in UK. The belly pork just melt in your mouth and the vegetable is the perfect accompaniment.

The drinks came late. We waited 1 hour for 2 sandwiches. When the food didn't come, we left the shop. waste of time
