Had a delicious jacket potato here recently, plenty of cheese filling. The side salad was glorious with bits of pineapple and grape halves in it.

Date: 31 July 2018 (lunchtime) Ordered a couple of sandwiches and two pots of tea. Had to send both tea pots back as there was no colour to the water. Received another 2 pots and still no colour to the tea after standing 5 minutes. Sandwiches arrived, the bread on both plates were stale (dry and hard) The chef insisted that the sliced loaf was fresh as it was bought in that morning. I suggested they should check dates on their produce. Just because its been bought in that morning, it doesn't necessarily mean it's fresh. On a positive note, the ham did look delicious, just very disapointed with the poor quality of bread and the poor quality of the tea dust they use. Will not be visiting this establishment again. Seven of us enjoyed a very tasty lunch here last week. We made the most of the weather and sat in the pleasant outdoor area. The quiche was particularly tasty and all of the food was attractively presented. The staff were very friendly too.

Good choice of cakes my husband decided on a scone were as I was very good and resisted (which was very difficult as they all look great).

I have visited here on numerous occasions, today was disappointing. There were 5 staff behind the counter one preparing coffee and milkshakes; the noise from both machines was uncomfortable and made the experience far from relaxing. Numerous staff serving with no consistency. It seemed a little chaotic. The prep area needs to be sealed off, this would mean less noise and that you can't see the staff milling around or checking their mobile phone! This cafe's success is now its potential failure, it needs to expand and I believe then it would be a fantastic place to visit.

The only downside would be how busy it gets and it is not particularly cheap. Apart from that; the food is lovely and there is an extensive menu. The staff in the cafe are lovely. The location is perfect: right in between the university/ Pontio and the high street.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. It was very busy no free tables. We were approached straight away and told we could have the next free table so we waited for approx ten minutes which was no problem as we looked round the shop and gallery. The waitress called us as soon as our table was ready and was very friendly and welcoming. We found the menu to have a great choice for lunch options. We ordered drinks and sandwiches which were served promptly and were very nice. All the staff went out of their way to give excellent service and all were friendly and attentive. We didn't sample the cakes but there was a good selection also available to take away. We will definitely return. Only downside was the cafe was full to bursting and it was very noisy and rather warm as it is not a large space. Some air conditioning or open windows would have made us more comfortable.

We always visit Seibiant. It's the best cafe in Bangor, a nice atmosphere and lovely food. The cakes are wonderful (especially the strawberry cheesecake), and the coffee is the best I've had. A lovely lady with short dark hair and glasses who works there always makes us feel welcome and we always enjoy it there. Definitely would recommend.

Lovely place, food reasonably priced and tasty. Huge variety of food, drinks and coffees. The cakes are to die for, definitely one of the best places to go for lunch in Bangor. Warning though, it does get very busy, it's so popular so you may be waiting for a while for a table but you can always reserve a table.

I visited Seibiant today for the first time to have lunch with my mum and two young daughters. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, who seated us at out table. It was busy and most tables were taken, but service was prompt and several friendly members of staff came over to say hello to my children. There was only a 5 minute wait from when we ordered to getting our food which was very efficient considering how busy it was.

Came here with my wife for a bite to eat. Food was well prepared, very presentable and tasty. Staff were numerous and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Menu is directed more at lite bites etc rather full blown meals...I.e sandwiches, salads, jacket potato and some hot meals. Deserts looked amazing with an array of cakes, scones and other sweets on offer. Not a very large place and got full quickly over lunch time period.

Visited with a group of 13 and everyone loved the food. It soon became obvious that this is a very popular place to eat and we were glad we pre-ordered our food and booked a table as soon as we arrived at 11 am - by the time we were set to eat at 12.30 the place was buzzing. I had hummus and roasted veg sandwich, others had - chicken chibatta, salmon quiche, roast hallumi salad and several had soup and everyone agreed that it was really good, very fresh and obviously prepared on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite being very busy - no grumpiness!

Met up with relatives today. I love afternoon tea, so the offer of meeting here was easily accepted. It was fantastic Go hungry you wont leave hungry. Forget finger sandwiches. Afternoon tea starts with a round of sandwiches of your choice from the menu, with side salad, crisps and coleslaw, then onto the cheesecakes, cakes and scones. Fortunately, apart from the scones, they are "bite size". There were seven of us. 2 stands, and a plate of mini cheesecakes, which were set out on a side table as there wasn't room on our table. We all helped ourselves - twice, were then offered to box up cake to take home, (with enough to give away) and we stlll couldn't finish. Ladies, you could halve the selection and still be awesome. Oh yes, and not only did it look good, it tasted great too. All for £15 a head and choice of drink.

Super cafe in the Storiel ( Bangor's newish museum/gallery that opened in 2015). Floor space ought to be bigger, because prams and buggies currently render it cramped (clearly the designer/architect never considered this). The efficiency of amiable and cheerful waiting and serving staff to navigate the practical obstacles is amazing. Selection of food isn’t huge but what’s on the menu is interesting, well cooked and plentiful. Food promptly served and one can linger over it. There’s an outside courtyard as well. Cafe is clearly popular and deservedly so. There’s ample scope for enlargement of the interior since there’s plenty of adjoining land available.

Where to start. I've been visiting since the place opened and from the first visit up until the last (this afternoon) the service and food have been five star. All fresh and tasty food. I'm a picky eater and anything I order always needs to be changed and the staff are so accommodating with this. There so friendly and you never feel rushed to get out. The cakes are an amazing treat and now they have added smoothies and milkshakes which are so refreshing. I will continue to visit weekly with my friends and I always leave feeling full and satisfied There's always a feeling of great team work when you see how hard the staff work behind the counter and on the floor to make all the customers happy. The new outside seating are is such a great idea and I can not wait to be sat in the sun with my friends enjoying the food and service. See you next week for more yummy food. Good work seibiant team xxxxx

Visited twice and received a poor service both times, on the second occasion I would even describe the staff as rude, as they were literately shouting 'what do you want'. I think this could have been phrased a little different and there was really no need to shout repeatedly. The coffee was just warm milk, and the cheese in the panini was not melted. I asked for no salad once, and they said it's fine it just comes on the side...that is just unnecessary food waste surely. I've heard good things about here, but have yet to see it. Very disappointing.

This is a recently open café/ restaurant in the modern Gwynedd Museum. As it is within the new museum's building its presence is not evident. At the date of our visit ( end of April 2016) it was still awaiting inspection for cleanliness but should have no concerns as the restaurant is bright, modern and has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. It offers a good range of dishes and cakes including Welsh specialities and favourites. Staff are friendly and unobstrusively efficient. Locals are clearly beginning to make this restaurant a regular meeting place.

We were going out to dinner early evening, just fancied a non alcoholic drink and a bite to eat (keep one's strength up). Saw the advert for Museum, Gallery and Caffi, just near the University buildings, so popped in. The café was well frequented we got the last table, my wife had a pot of tea, I had a Latte. We shared an egg mayonnaise sandwich with crisps , coleslaw and salad, and a scone with welsh salted butter, preserve and clotted cream. All beautifully presented and very reasonably priced.

The venue great, the decor is clean and fresh with high ceiling and window views out onto Pontio and the University which makes it a pleasant place to visit. Being in Storiel the galleries, shop and museum offers a great chance to spend some time pre or post cake enjoying the latest art exhibitions or museum displays. The choice of crockery etc also shows attention to detail too. But it's early days for the cafe itself, they've failed to get the card machine working for opening so you could only pay with cash, although this will get sorted in time. The service is strange too with a table service. They appear to have an amazing amount of staff for the size of the cafe, when we've been in there's been 5-6 staff on, yet the service is really slow with long waits to take and deliver orders . Prices too are on the higher side comparative to other cafes.

On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth
