This place saved me when i was a student in bangor university. The food was very comfy and delicious! I highly recommend paying it a visit try the Szechuan chicken and/or the japanese chicken katsu

The host was friendly and accommodating. The food however was disappointing and the sauces and soup were gloopy and like gravy with little taste or freshness.

Seafood and tofu clay hot pot was flavourful, and the Sweet and sour chicken rice dish was beautiful- the sauce had such a nice consistency and tasted great 👍 Also had a side of salt and pepper chips, very fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Perfect chips! Highly recommend for the food and atmosphere, and the owner is lovely !! Can't wait to go again ♥

Just poped in for lunch the food was top notch with good portions.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly It rained that day so me and my friend decided to have a meal in this place. My friend had the squid and the prawn toast and I had the seafood congee, oh I did enjoyed that congee which I missed so much. Highly recommended.

My favourite place in Bangor. It's mostly quiet and an amazing atmosphere and I miss going here. She's a down to earth lady who runs the place for her peace and quiet and does not profit and loves talking to you. I was one of her regulars whilst I studied here... now I'm back home as I graduated but this place has a special place in my heart. Loved the katsu curry here and salt pepper squid definitely I recommend it.

Was hungry after a afternoon lecture at uni so I went down to this place to order some take away and the woman behind the counter “Simone” was extremely nice and friendly. The food was fantastic and came in a nicely sized portion for £10 will come back again when ever I am thinking about having take out

First time I'd been here. The lady who greeted us was very nice & helpful. Our food was tasty though we felt the meat in the special noodles was a bit sparse & so finely chopped it was rather difficult to find & identify it! We also had sweet & sour king prawns which were delicious in fact one often nicest I've ever had The fried rice was good too. I will definitely return & give it another try based on the S & S Prawn dish .

Absolutely amazing! This woman deserves the world and i want everyone to support her. She works her butt off and you can tell she puts her heart in every meal. So i will be coming back even just for a chat with her.

Ordered from here on a whim and it was amazing. The food was brilliant and the woman working was so sweet. I highly recommend this place!!

Me and my partner came down on our three months anniversary later in the evening, only to be rushed half way through the meal... Unfortunately after 8 days of avoiding meals we both have came out with food poisoning which we suspected to be here due to the very quick serving times. However i cannot complain of the service fully as the rest of the service was above standard and the waitress fully paid attention to our needs during the meal.

Deadass hands down best food I've had in a while. I got a starter and main and I was genuinely upset when I couldn't finish it due to being full. Lady running it was the sweetest and super nice, it doesn't seem to get that busy but I loved it cause it was a quiet atmosphere plus the music choice was mellow and you could actually hear the person next to you. I can't wait to go back with my sister!

Don't eat the dishes recommended by the boss lady. Just 15 minutes after eating, I had a terrible stomachache and kept feeling sick. After thinking for a long time, I probably can't sell it. I have been recommending it to others... If you can't help it, just don't go...

The ingredients are fresh, the food is clean, and the boss is conscientious. Emphasize the freshness and original flavor of the ingredients.

Oh boy oh boy!! My all time fav chinese place in UK!!! The owner herself is a very nice lady she made sure to cater for all our requests and needs. We usually celebrated all important events here, great memories I miss and crave this place so bad!! One of the best kun pao chicken and vegetable fried rice!

Good traditional Japanese food with a large range of dishes and friendly staff.

A friend and I tried Jasmine on the sour of the moment and really pleased we did. Food was great and reasonably priced.

Excellent food. Very fresh and friendly service. We ordered: Won ton soup, seafood and tofu soup, salt and pepper squid, prawn toast, Special duck noodles, seafood and tofu claypot (sichuan style), spicy noodle soup with slow cooked beef, noodle soup with fried chicken, and Special beef noodles. All the food was very fresh, and very tasty. Each soup was made with its own base and was very authentic. The slow cooked beef was very tender , indeed all the meet was cooked very well. If were trying to find a fault it was that the squid was a little too salty. The service was friendly although a little slow (25 minutes for mains). However our host explained that since things were slow since the most recent covid restrictions relaxation, they were making all items to order. There were two Chinese pairs at the other tables (always a good sign) We would 100% recommend for fresh authentic Chinese food.

Truly authentic Asian food. Came back from a month in Seoul and this was the closest we could find to the food we enjoyed there.

Great food with a large choice.

5 star food. Always fabulous service and the best chinese we've tasted in the area. The clay pot dishes are lovely and the spicy chicken salad like nothing I've tasted before. Best of all the portions are huge and great value for money! Highly recommended.

You must try crispy chicken carry and rice, Japanese style! The crispy chicken is so good

I can’t rate this place highly enough. Very authentic Chinese food, with helpful staff that are happy to help with suggestions as the food doesn’t seem to be westernised, so they are very accommodating of this. It’s very refreshing to be able to have a chinese dining experience that doesn’t have the British staples we’re all used to.

Wow! We were forewarned the service would be delayed we took this opportunity as a family reunite! When the food arrived it was obviously freshly made and tasted out of this world! this was the first time we ate here but deffenately not the last

Iooked awesome from the outside, had heard good things......walked in, only had 3 people in there, waited 5mins , was ignored by everyone in there including the 3 people who went behind the bar, so walked out and went next door to One Noodle and had a fantastic meal there.

Food looks good but unfortunately it is not freshly made. Food comes out the kitchen really fast (6-8 min), which makes one wonder how can anything that is made to order be prepared in such time. In addition, prices are high for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Both Noodle One and Ling's Restaurant which are at the side and diagonal to this restaurant offer way better food for a more suitable price range. However, one good aspect is the environment of the restaurant, as it is nice and comfortable, with service being fast and casual. All in all, the place offers the potential to be a really good restaurant, but I believe that restaurants around this one are better places to go eat.
