A hidden gem. By the bus station in Mold. Excellent coffee, friendly service, spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend and ideal if you want a brew waiting for the bus. A good range of snacks and paninis.

Always love our family trips to Spavens. We have been going for 8+ years and our children are now teenagers and they never get bored of going. You can decorate and fill sweets jars, paint pottery, eat pancakes and ice cream, drink hot chocolate and milkshakes. You can do it all or just some. Staff are incredible and we always get a warm welcome. They go above and beyond to accommodate every single need. We would definitely recommend a visit, followed by a walk in the beautiful countryside. Car park, very close by and cheap to park too.

Booked a table for 16 people 2 weeks in advance for Sunday lunch for our dads 60th birthday, having been here several times for family gatherings or as a couple for meals it was our first choice as food and service has always been great.service from the waitress this time was terrible she was quite frankly rude and we were made to feel unwanted the minute we were seated.having just taken our seats same asked us what did we want to order from the Sunday roast menu,I explained we were going to order drinks first and then we would be ready to order ,her reply we have these tables booked out after you! My mum immediately wanted to leave but not wanting to ruin dadā€™s meal as family had traveled from Manchester we stayed. Food came to the table quickly and disappointing, everyoneā€™s Yorkshire puddings were burnt and hard we had a spoonful of instant mash and for the price small portions , the server was miserable and standoffish and unlike past reservations wasnā€™t very welcoming towards us , will not be coming back unfortunately everyone in our party wanted to complain but we didnā€™t for dads sake

Went here at the weekend after googling an all u can eat Chinese restraunt. The food was really good the problem like others who have reviewed here is the all you can eat part. Had a mediocre soup. Appertisers were amazing but was rushed through to the crispy duck. We thought ok we can order extra duck. We were then told the all you can eat is not on the duck so we thought only on the mains. Everything is cooked fresh and brought to your table. When the mains arrived the portions are tiny. 3 king prawns in one dish. 4 small pieces of chicken in another. So when we finished we ordered more. That's when the mood changed the waitress then snatched the menus out of my hand and walked off. It was like how dare you order more. The ice cream is bad loads of ice in it like it had been there for ages. And no fresh fruit as advertised. Bravo to the chef the food is good. But the service makes you feel uncomfortable and not able to order more. I left feeling not content and a bit angry at the treatment.

Always tend to pop in here on visits to Mold. Very good value and good service. Nice home made chips and some good meal deals if you want a traditional meat and veg dinner.

Wonderful food, helpful staff, reasonably priced - with my lovely friend Helen as my birthday treat. Slightly loud but that was my sensitive ears, and itā€™s a popular place! Lovely clean toilets too ā˜ŗļø

Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over Ā£5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!

We had been to this cafe a long time ago so decided to try it again. It is a little off the main street and probably wonā€™t have found it without having been there before. Possibly an advertising board on the street, if allowed, would attract peopleā€™s attention. Just a thought. The cafe was busy and had a lovely warm atmosphere. The place was spotless and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The menu was very varied and catered for everyone. We had steak pie and shepherds pie which came reasonable quickly after ordering. It was piping hot, of good quality and delicious. Will definitely go again when in Mold. Note it is cash only but there is a cash machine not far away.
