Always tend to pop in here on visits to Mold. Very good value and good service. Nice home made chips and some good meal deals if you want a traditional meat and veg dinner.

Found this lovely restaurant on one of the side streets of Mold, lovely old fashioned place, clean and well presented, quite reasonable prices too,my husband and i tried the 3 course lunch,it was lovely, just nice for me as i dont like things piled on the plate, fruit juice or soup to start then the meal then dessert, coffee to finish, just under £18 for 2,will be back again definitely.

Not sure when the place had a few quid spent on it but in 1995 the phone numbers in The UK had a "1" added to them. The Savoy's main board above the building has the same sign from years before as its phone number is 0352...that's worrying! Its also a Youngers Ale House endorsed sign..they went bust in 2008? Undeterred I went in for a breakfast, its dark and like taking a trip back in time, there were a few in there obviously old time regulars some still bemoaning the fact they had to go outside to smoke. Ordered a breakfast and it was superb. Never judge the book by the cover as this is a great book with a severely damaged cover!

A coach group went for the afternoon we had lamb with apple crumble to follow and tea or coffee and as far as I remember it cost £12 each. there was plenty of meat and veg with potatoes roast and boiled. With an ample serving of crumble and custard. We were then entertained for the afternoon by singing, jokes and dancing leaving at 4.00PM

I went there for the breakfast with a business partner. The restaurant is satisfactory but the full English Breakfast is excellent.

Basically a traditional friendly Italian Restaurant which is well established. Used a lot as a great venue for special occasions, and ideal for large groups and parties. Great service and good food.

Ignore the dated decor. You can be assured of a warm welcome at the Savoy. The food is cooked fresh at very good prices. Great for families or if you are alone.

located on chester street mold, next to the auctions, the savoy has been in mold for as long as I can remember,(mid 70's) and is run by a very charming Italian family, who make you feel very welcome. they can cater for 2 to 200 people, with a big function room at the rear of the property. food is always of a high standard, and is always freshly cooked. worth a visit.

This was our first visit and we had a very pleasant evening. One of our group has dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free). The staff were very attentive and helpful, checking the dishes chosen were suitable and safe. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Excellent service. We will definitely go back there.

Had a lovely lunch, The chicken parfait was excellent as was the fish n chips! The chips were the best we had ever eaten - gorgeous! The bar area was quiet and the staff very attentive . Will definitely recommend and can’t wait to return!

Shambolic experience recently when we went for lunch. They had a funeral wake going on with loads of people. Car park was full, with total chaos as cars were trying to enter/ leave and then find somewhere to park. Service inside was appallingly slow and not helped by very unpleasant lady at the counter. Apparently some people who had booked just went away due to the situation. Its was a great pity as this is usually a very good place to eat.

Booked a table for 16 people 2 weeks in advance for Sunday lunch for our dads 60th birthday, having been here several times for family gatherings or as a couple for meals it was our first choice as food and service has always been great.service from the waitress this time was terrible she was quite frankly rude and we were made to feel unwanted the minute we were seated.having just taken our seats same asked us what did we want to order from the Sunday roast menu,I explained we were going to order drinks first and then we would be ready to order ,her reply we have these tables booked out after you! My mum immediately wanted to leave but not wanting to ruin dad’s meal as family had traveled from Manchester we stayed. Food came to the table quickly and disappointing, everyone’s Yorkshire puddings were burnt and hard we had a spoonful of instant mash and for the price small portions , the server was miserable and standoffish and unlike past reservations wasn’t very welcoming towards us , will not be coming back unfortunately everyone in our party wanted to complain but we didn’t for dads sake
