I have been coming here for years but today I booked for 20+ people for breakfast for a retirement do. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us all despite me changing the numbers a few times. The food came out really quickly and everyone commented that is was fresh and really tasty. They were super friendly and attentive and made the do a really enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend chocks away as would the others in the group. Thanks to all the staff involved for making our day.

Had a lovely lunch with friends in this gorgeous, quirky cafe. Food was delicious, fresh and the cakes, scummy. Definitely recommend a visit, especially if you like art work as there's plenty on display.

A really well kept pub - just the two cask ales on this Tuesday lunchtime. The Facers Bitter is going down well accompanied with a Scotch Egg.

The Fox and Grapes has been transformed under its new ownership! The atmosphere is noticeably improved—warm and welcoming—and the place looks much cleaner and well cared for. We enjoyed a lovely drink outside with the family after a picturesque walk around Hawarden Castle. Great prices too, which is always a bonus. Looking forward to seeing how this fantastic pub continues to evolve!

Ordered 1 Latte and 1 Hot Chocolate with 2 toasted teacakes. Cost £16.05. Our drinks arrived waited another 15 minutes for our teacakes which were very hard could only eat the middle part. Will not be going back again.

Plants healthy, all the Christmas tat you could hope for, cafe large, too large for the one person on the till & serving, excellent mega breakfast and the grimmest cafe toilets I’ve encountered for a long time

Disappointing vegetarian breakfast and eggs florentine. Overcooked sausage and burnt toast. Overpriced for what we got.

We were looking for a light lunch as we were visiting the garden centre, the staff and service was good, a regular coffee was a really small cup, the sandwiches were very expensive, hardly any filling, the bread was dry so I couldn't eat it, I asked if I could have a soup instead, that was very tasty but came with a fifth of a smallbaguette. My husband is a catering manager and was incredibly shocked at the prices and quality of food, we spent 20 pound on a lunch that we didn't enjoy at all and regretted going there, we weren't offered a refund for the difference of the sandwich and soup, although the manager was very apologetic. We definitely won't be returning there.
