The best restaurants in Llandrillo Denbighshire North Wales

Amazing and very well priced food. Lovely little restaurant and service was excellent despite being very busy. Could not fault it.

Booked a table for a late Sunday lunch after a long walk up the hills. The staff were really friendly, the home cooked food was delicious, and they’re dog friendly too. The roast beef was served with a few extra touches (alongside the usual roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables) that made it a great dinner plate - sweet and unctuous red cabbage, homemade Yorkshire pudding that was both crispy on the top and soft and chewy on the bottom, a piece of roast swede that was both sweet and earthy, some roasted carrots with deep carrot flavour, all sitting on top of a plate dressing of sweet potato purée, topped with a thick, savoury gravy. Managed to save some space for a sticky toffee pudding which was again really really good - soft, unctuous, gently spiced, loaded with gooey date flavour and texture. Highly recommended :)

The staff were all very friendly and the food (all day breakfast) arrived promptly. If you are passing through Corwen it's well worth popping in.

Went into here for a pre-dinner drink. Expected to be ignored and unwelcomed. I couldn't have been more wrong. Great place. Great atmosphere. It was like your old dads local. Everybody in the conversation - no quarter given. You can have a view if you can substantiate it. Will be going back here...

Cold, partially bad chips, soggy fish soaked in fat. Not a good experience. Won’t be visiting again. Disappointed as this place had been recommended to us by a local. Sad to report that it wasn’t a good choice.

Below average experience with raw donner meat, dry and hard pitta bread, hard and thin garlic bread. Same ingredients used as all the other kebabs in the area I’m not sure what makes this place special…..

Lucky Llangollen to have this bakery - the best seeded loaf around. Can also recommend the white tin loaf and the takeaway sausage buns. Friendly service with a smile.
