Updated Dec 2024. We have become regulars here whenever we visit Llandudno and Conwy, which is now usually twice a year. Food is brilliant and Cai a perfect host, with the team in support providing excellent service. Dec 2019 What a find! We were a party of 7 at relatively short notice this week and the team very kindly managed to accommodate us, despite being incredibly busy pre Christmas. We had a fantastic meal, excellent service and exquisite food in a really nice environment and atmosphere. All the meals were wonderful.... Lamb, pork, duck, snails cooked to perfection. (We may also have contributed to a coffee avec brandy idea addition at the end of our meal?) We intend to visit again when we are in the area as we are not local, and will highly recommend Paysanne to those we know who visit the area, and if you are reading this review and uncertain as to whether you will like Paysanne, we would say don't hesitate, book it! It's fabulous! Looking forward to returning next year.

Beautiful location no matter 2hat the weather is like. We booked the Spa DBB deal staying in a suite. We had to upgrade our treatment to get the full massage but definitely worth it. We had a small lunch at the bar. In the evening we had an excellent meal with good service. Started with squash risotto, mains Hake and Prk belly followed by Orange Sponge with clotted cream. Breakfast was excellent with a good vegetarian option.

I’ve been at my mothers side since the early hours in the local hospital, waiting for the inevitable. I missed breakfast, so I walk the mile or two into Deganwy. I see this cafe I’ve not been in before, so I decided to try it. I order eggs on toast and a coffee about 10.00. The young waiter keeps on about his work, and 15 minutes go by. I finish my coffee. 40 minutes (!) have now gone by, and no food! I ask the waiter to check up on my order, frankly I shouldn’t have to ask as there aren’t many customers there anyway. He says they have “Lost My Order” I say I will “just pay for the coffee”, I’m disappointed, hungry, and I’ve had enough. He then disappeared! I have to actually go up myself to pay! I do get an apology, but I don’t even get a free coffee by way of apology! It’s now 10.45, so I return to the hospital hungry. Zero stars for the Olive grove, very poor service.

Just had a wonderful dinner here, and Rhiannon made our evening. She's been exceptionally friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the menu ( which cannot be taken for granted these days) and brilliant with my 6 year old. The food was good but a bit overpriced perhaps. The restaurant is very cozy nevertheless, just a bit less salt and more flavour pairing would be fab.

Beware!!!!!!!!!!! Madras and samba far too spicy, it’s ridiculous!!! we love spicy food but cannot eat it. You are going to kill somebody with this pisstake of spices! Paid good money for this!! Even the butter chicken is spicy, what’s going on ? What a waste of money!! Samosas are vile and onion bajhis are rock hard! Rice is great in the plus side. Warning- don’t bother with this place, nothing less than evil!!!!!!!!!!
