We've just got back from a perfect family holiday at The Outbuildings with Oyster Holiday Cottages.
We were very lucky with the weather, but the property itself was ideal with an on-site tennis court, a snooker table, and plenty of space for 13 of us.
Each room was spacious and had its own bathroom, and the house was in a very peaceful location with great views.
We were a short drive from local beaches, shops and attractions. The house was a great base.
The team at Oyster Holiday Cottages gave a first class service, and we are already talking about rebooking with them for next year.
Definitely recommend.
We come to this lovely cafe very often, and always leave incredibly happy!
The staff are always so welcoming, and the food never disappoints! Me and my family love the pancakes - so fluffy and tasty! We also appreciate the cute coffee art!
Thank you for such lovely service and food always!

Lovely gem of a place in Mold. Had no idea this was here all this time. Stopped in for a coffee. Defo recommend the Oat Latte with Gingerbread sauce. Soooo good.
Had a really great breakfast at Skyes. The waiting staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. The food was very good. We had a Welsh breakfast and a ham, cheese and egg galette.

Had 2 sausage, chips & beans. They pride themselves on freshly made to order. The chips were already cold & cooked then thrown back in chips pan to reheat, yak! Beans were dry as they had been sitting there. Sausage was ok. We had to wait 45mins for this meal. Coffee was served straight away so when meal came it was cold. I observed more customers getting irate waiting for their bacon butty take out. Was not a nice experience. It wasn't even busy. Just 2 customers when we arrived. If you're looking for a quick meal don't go here. If you don't mind waiting, having warmed up food, cold coffee then this place is for you. Will not be visiting again.
Stopped in for a coffee after visiting nearby castle, and glad we did! Good & simple selection of food. Great value for money. Clean and super friendly. Would recommend.
Had a two night stay here over the weekend of the 6th Sept and what a wonderful little place it is.
Emma and Menno were the most welcoming, friendly hosts and we immediately felt like this was a home from home, our room was very cosy and complete with home made Welsh cakes that went down a treat with a cup of tea after the long drive.
The breakfasts were amazing and with the added twist of a Dutch breakfast option courtesy of Menno.
The tea rooms are currently closed allowing for a lovely spacious breakfast room which is decorated with photos and keepsakes from all over the world. Emma gave us pointers on the local eateries and places to go and even filled up our water bottles for us when we went out on our hike.
This is a fantastic base for walking with easy access to both the Rydd Ddu, and Snowdon Ranger paths up Snowdon as well as having several lakes and close by to the Nantile Ridge.
Ty Mawr is currently up for sale which is a shame because we would definitely stay again.
Thank you Emma and Menno for giving us a really lovely stay.
