Sam's cafe in Denbighshire

Had 2 sausage, chips & beans. They pride themselves on freshly made to order. The chips were already cold & cooked then thrown back in chips pan to reheat, yak! Beans were dry as they had been sitting there. Sausage was ok. We had to wait 45mins for this meal. Coffee was served straight away so when meal came it was cold. I observed more customers getting irate waiting for their bacon butty take out. Was not a nice experience. It wasn't even busy. Just 2 customers when we arrived. If you're looking for a quick meal don't go here. If you don't mind waiting, having warmed up food, cold coffee then this place is for you. Will not be visiting again.

One star review because although the food was usual cafe fodder at a reasonable price it's the service that is extremely poor. Had a wait of nearly 45 minute for food which for a cafe is just wrong, unless you work for A&D motorcycles then it's less than 5 minutes wait!! We saw 2 people ask for a refund and others ask where their food was. It wasn't even busy but 45 minutes is ridiculous. Wont be visiting again.

Good place to go but service can be very slow at times

Had a full vegie breakfast. Fantastic value at £6.50 and generous helpings. 2 each of toast, egg, hash and generous beans and mushrooms. I was stuffed.

I often pop in here on a Saturday morning for a breakfast bap and a coffee, the full breakfast looks really good too. Prices are very reasonable. It's a good spot for bikers and non bikers alike. Always service with a smile too.

We came here by recommendation when on guild hall decided not to open for breakfast, and we couldn't be happier with the recommendation. The food was tasty and well priced with a bustling atmosphere. I recommend it to any one looking for good food.

Second time we've been there and hopefully not the last ,lovely menu and the waitress was so helpful and smiley, also enjoyed looking at the motorbikes on show .
