Haven't tried the coffee yet, but managed to get a great set of FFWD wheels. Would definitely recommend to give 'm a call when you're in the market for a set of wheels.
Very warm and friendly reception, and just had a lovely refurb..
Both myself and my hubby had a Full Welsh breakfast, which we couldn't fault.
Good prices for a good amount of grub.
Lovely and clean, we will definitely be going back again.
Staying nearby we decided to pop into one of our nearby local pubs and to our delight we found it very friendly and welcoming my wife and I can highly recommend it if you are considering dropping in
Can't speak highly enough of this lively, lovely little place. So welcoming, such perfectly done food, mix of friendly faces, excellent service, quality produce, really cannot go wrong. Sounds daft but someone in the kitchen really knows how to turn out a perfect fried egg - and the bacon is right back to old school, dry cure, thick, crispy but tender. Simple stuff done to perfection. Delicious all round. (Sorry no photos but we hoovered everything too fast)
Would highly recommend this cafe my full English veggie breakfast was the best I have had. My Husband said the same of his breakfast too (full English meat). Very friendly and welcoming service too😊👍
Great location for Penllech Beach - footpath from campsite directly onto the beach.
There no facilities to wash up dishes or do laundry - the only sinks are in the shower block and these are not suitable for dishwashing or clothes washing. The only option is to fill up a bowl from the cold water tap in the field and take it back to your tent.
The owners do not allow visitors/guests (guests of campers) to park on-site - so if you are expecting friends or family to visit you on your holiday, they will have to park elsewhere. Alternative parking is extemley limited/not possible.
The showers are great - 50 pence buys you three minutes of instantly hot high pressure water.
Best ice cream on the island bar none. They actually sell chocolate ice cream without any added bits and bobs which is increasingly rare these days when the fad seems to be for putting raw biscuits dough, coffee biscuits, salted caramel or even chocolate chips in chocolate ice cream. Unlike the ice cream shop in Cemaes, which had a perfectly good looking chocolate ice cream and then contaminated it with flake shavings, Harela’s have a nice smooth chocolate ice cream that is pure and unsullied by any debris. Hats off to Hurela’s Benllech a true rarity in the ice cream world!
My sister says that the ice cream milkshakes are also excellent 👍
A nice place for an afternoon break. My wife had a fruit scone and I had a ham & cheese toastie, both quite nice. Got in ok with wheelchair but toilets were downstairs. Reasonable prices and friendlly staff.
