Great location for Penllech Beach - footpath from campsite directly onto the beach. There no facilities to wash up dishes or do laundry - the only sinks are in the shower block and these are not suitable for dishwashing or clothes washing. The only option is to fill up a bowl from the cold water tap in the field and take it back to your tent. The owners do not allow visitors/guests (guests of campers) to park on-site - so if you are expecting friends or family to visit you on your holiday, they will have to park elsewhere. Alternative parking is extemley limited/not possible. The showers are great - 50 pence buys you three minutes of instantly hot high pressure water.

This cafe is always a welcome site after catching frisbees and balls on Penllech Beach. There’s always a friendly welcome and a fresh bowl of water waiting for me, my human always has a cappuccino a sandwich and a bowl of chips. My favourite are the chips 🤤 I give it five paws out of five 🐾

Had such a good week at Moel Y Berth. The caravan was immaculate and well equipped. Jo and Mike work very hard and have high standards. The shop is well stocked and breakfasts are delicious. Such a beautiful unspoilt location. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Stumbled across this cafe whilst on a beach walk. A simple sign on an old building on the beach said cafe 200meters, so we followed it and what a lovely surprise! Proper coffee, sandwiches, cakes, water for the dogs, a well stocked campsite shop, very clean toilet and super friendly owners. We sat outside with the dogs but they’re tables inside. We went back the next morning and had breakfast and we’ll be back again. Well done 👍🏻

Best coffee ever in a lovely clean cafe with indoor/outdoor seating & takeaway. Delicious meals & sandwiches etc too, as well as ice cream, grocery store and seaside stuff. Lovely friendly owners. Open to non residents and just a short walk up from Traeth Penllech/Porth Colmon or off the road from Llangwnnadl to the coast. Well worth a visit.

Jo provides a very warm welcome with a great selection of tempting cakes and a good range of snacks & meals. There is also a good stock of food and other items for campers and holidaymakers in the store section.

We stopped in at the Coastal Cafe whilst staying locally. The owners were super helpful and very friendly and the coffee fantastic. Very clean facilities, a nice seating area and it looked to be a very well stocked grocery section for anyone staying on the site.

Great spot for anyone camping in one of the 2 local campsites, as we did for a week. They do excellent cappuccinos and the like, good sandwiches, ice cream, and they've got a reasonable selection of basic foodstuffs too, plus cards and gifts. Really friendly people running it, and some simple but attractive outside seating in a reasonably sheltered spot adjoining the campsite, with tables and bench seating and in a real sun-trap. A great little spot - please support it, as we did - everyone's struggling during Covid but this is a great asset and improved the quality of our week's camping holiday no end!
