Yer hen danerdy The Old Tannery in Conwy

This place is a hidden gem. Spirits uplifted for the day by the friendly and cheerful staff. Good views of the hills and terrific food.

My husband and I stopped for a drink and lunch mid walk. He had a toastie which came with a lovely side salad and I had a BLT. All food and meat comes from local suppliers. Husband also had a very generous slice of coffee and walnut cake. All the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The coffees were also excellent. I’ve been several times with a friend for brunch and it’s always good. Highly recommended

We called at Yr Hen Danerdy for a late breakfast and were very impressed by the atmosphere, the service and of course the food which was excellent value for money. The fresh local produce used was of lovely quality and cooked perfectly. My husband chose the large breakfast which lived up to its name whilst I enjoyed the bacon sandwich. A slice of cake was impossible to resist but had to be a takeaway to enjoy later on in the day! Would highly recommend and look forward to my next trip to Llanrwst so that we can visit again. A great place, even though we were a group of 9 they managed to find space for us. Food a tiny bit slow arriving but great quality. The soup could have done with a bit more flavour but was accompanied by really good bread.

Fantastic place a hidden gem. Owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food is delicious every time and good value. Been there several times and well worth the 12mile trip to get there.
