Phoned up last minute for a burger & cake. Station bistro did not disappoint 🤤 I got a chicken burger with halloumi, bacon with slaw & maple syrup with sesame seeds for on my burger. The bun was toasted just the right amount, chicken was cooked too perfection.. Bacon was just the right amount of crisp and the halloumi was also fab (usually halloumi can be a hit or miss and quite rubbery anywhere else) but I would highly recommend getting it on your burger. I have a very sweet tooth and the biscoff brownie hit the spot. The staff are so lovely aswell. Will 110% be back ❤️

Great food staff wonderful changed menu to suit my grandson would highliy recomend them food and service 100% . Well done to Ian and Ann-Marie who have worked so hard this venture was well deserved. Good luck in all you both do. Xx

My gammon steak was the best I’ve ever had. Was at least 14oz and the chicken pie was brilliant. Big chunks of chicken and ham. Kids pizzas and macaroni went down well with the kids as both of them didn’t talk whilst eating (if you know you know) You can clearly see the foods are all made in house and nothing like your average buy-in places. And for what it’s worth. The toilets have TVs and music in them. It’s a great touch. Definitely will be back!

Lovely dinner at Prego at the weekend. Food amazing as always and staff took great care of us so well. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Restaurant was busy and had good friendly busy atmosphere with a lovely aroma and warm. Starter and main course food were very good and generous servings. Sweet menu looked liked it may be bought in, so didn't have anything. Sadly service was a bit hit or miss; mistake in main course that was quickly rectified, forgotten drinks order had to be reordered, and a bit slow, but as i said it was very busy, maybe even full. Helpful staff, and customers were happy and relaxed. Spacious, clean and comfortable. An enjoyable experience, will go back and would recommend. Thank you for a lovely meal and pleasant evening.

Visited with friends for lunch. I had tuna mayonnaise sandwich, scone and jam along with a pot of tea. Friends had baked potato and soup. All was fresh and absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be back soon. Lovely cafe xx
