This is a great place to go for Breakfast or Lunch! Been here several times a day the service is always great and the food delicious! The chicken curry is lovely and the cakes on offer are awesome!
I don't often stop when out cycling but passing here and remembering a previous enjoyable visit I stopped for coffee and a lovely slice of Victoria Sponge.
It's a cracking place with the emphasis of quality and customer service.
Highly recommended, it's open to non cyclists too 😊
Went here last night, for two Birthday celebrations, my friends 65th, & my 80th.The food was nothing short of amazing, hot, good portion sizes, & lot's to choose from on the Menu. The king prawn sizzler I had was beautiful, & you could tell they were fresh. My fellow birthday girl, had a cheese nan among other things, that she said was fabulous, My Husband, wolfed his food down, & said he wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. We weren't rushed, were asked if we were ready for the next course. or did we want to rest for a while ( which we thought was so nice ) The new owner, could't do enough to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. This is a lovely Restaurant, affordable, & with a great atmosphere. Will see you again very soon, & hope you get lot's of Customers, as you certainly deserve it. The effort you've put into the Mountain Spice restaurant definately shows...Well done ! See you very soon.
The most kindest and hard working staff and don’t get me started on the very handsome young lad that helps out all over the club house he is amazing as-well would highly recommend there mac n cheese its banging
After passing by many times we took the plunge. Plenty of parking and the site is a take away with no seating areas. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. A wide range of cheesecakes available which looked great, good portions and tasted delicious. Prices were reasonable and the coffee was very good.
Reviewing this as someone who got a takeaway (the weather was TERRIBLE when I visited Kilmarnock). My bestest best told me I should try their "Kilmarnock Pie" which has won awards. Oh my god... I could see why. Super delicious gravy and meat, with incredibly flaky crust.
I look forward to actually visiting Brownings in person the next time I visit!
AMAZING food and outstanding service at The Harbour! Fish Finger Butty and BLT were absolutely gorgeous 😍 Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. I'm in a wheelchair and they were so accommodating: I often feel an inconvenience to small independants but not so here!
Oh, and it's dog friendly too 🐕
Had a wonderful lunch today at Sophie's Cafe after a jaw dropping drive through Mennock pass and Lead Hills. Food was great, service was excellent and the place was brightly decorated and clean. Prices were great! For example:£3.00 for the penne with chicken special with salad, coleslaw and bread. We will definitely do lunch there again!
Un cálido saludo a su llegada, el personal muy atento! Comida fantástica!! Muy recomendado!! La primera vez que mi esposa y yo hemos comido en este restaurante y sin duda volveremos a por más!!
Aside from the gentle ribbing the queue, there was a plethora of options. A tuna sandwich here does not mean a sandwich with just tuna, think again! Cheese. Coleslaw. Salad. The bread could barely contain itself. Haggis slice, sausage roll both great. Cakes the size of your head, well worth the type 2 diabetes. Would return.
This is the nearest location for hot rolls to my house. Its fine in an emergency, but their pricing is a bit random. Roll n Sausage is £1.80 extra bacon is £1, but they charge £3 because a Roll n Bacon is £2 and extra sausage is £1. Sorry if this is a bit too pedantic for some, but it annoys me. Tried their chips yesterday. I won't do that again.
This is an amazing little bakery and it's easy to understand why it's so popular.
Can't believe I haven't been sooner. I definitely won't leave it too long before returning!
