Visited Betty's a few times since moving to Blackburn last year. We love this place! Great pub grub food, always tasty food and decent portions. The Sunday roast is honestly the best I've ever had from a restaurant - meat and trimmings cooked to perfection! The staff are always lovely too!

What a lovely evening, great food, friendly staff and the quiz was a bonus. What a laugh the place was buzzing.

My wife and I visited tonight as Marshall’s have started a “ Pay Day Friday” drive thru, which is open until 7pm. I opted for the balmoral chicken which consisted of large chicken fillets, bacon bits haggis in a sauce with chips and cheese topped off with green onions. This was a large portion so much so that I was just unable to completely finish it. My wife had the Aberdeen Angus beef brisket loaded with peppercorn sauce, cheese spring onions and red onion again this was a large portion. Whilst eating our food in the car park I noticed quite a number of cars passing through the drive thru, they seemed to be very busy. Would definitely go back some other Friday night as I couldn’t fault the food being served, it was very tasty.

Lovely wee gem of a place for a coffee & cake in Kintore. Not quite sure where to park as there seems to be parking beside/behind. Also, the entrance is at the side and not very well sign posted so people inside waiting for the rest of their parties to arrive were shouting and pointing "to go round the side" through the window. Met my friend for brunch and had poached eggs on toast. Great poached eggs as they were perfectly cooked! Cakes looked amazing but we refrained. Maybe next time. Would recommend a visit and will certainly be going back for another visit.

If you enjoy a nice well laid out rural pub, this one will take some beating, especially if you like real ale.

Popped in along for fish and chips with family to take home whilst on holiday. Excellent service from entering the chip shop, young friendly and professional staff, one way system through from till to collection of food. Food is cooked fresh to order so was nice and pipping hot. Definitely be back.

Really disappointing and extremely overpriced. Not a bad cup of coffee and young girl that served us was really good but that's where the positives end. We popped in for a spot of lunch and were really disappointed we had a sandwich and a wrap. For the prices we were being charged would have expected at least a side salad and a couple crisps. But in the case of the crispy chicken wrap I got what seemed like soggy chicken nuggets and cheap garlic mayo a total of 4 bites sitting sadly in the middle of the plate.. at least a Sainsbury's next door to get something else to eat

My wife and I had a meal at 1911 tonight. Food was excellent, supreme of chicken and beef medallions layered with haggis. Shame there wasn't more people dining to create a better ambience. So come along and enjoy some good food.
