Popped in for a takeaway coffee. Wished I’d had time to stop and eat. This is a very funky place. Coffee was great and the staff friendly. Liked like great cakes.

You need to find your way through a chemist's shop and then upstairs - but it is worth it! We stopped for the soup and sandwich deal; a bowl of hot home-made soup, thick with lentils and chunks of bacon and a chicken mayo sandwich stuffed full and with salad and crisps. Delicious and a bargain.

Lovely spot, fabulous cakes, scones and meringues. Lovely atmosphere. Fantastic little find. Will definitely be back.

Gordon and Teresa's upgrade to this pub has been a great thing for Banff. It's enjoyed by both locals and holiday-makers, and is a great place to meet up with friends for a drink. It's great to still have a decent pub in town, run by a local couple, who are willing to go that extra mile to satisfy their customers.

Fab! Fab! Fab! What a gem! I ate here with family after a recommendation and now I cant stop telling everyone to go here! The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were brilliant! I think the North East is lagging behind with great restaurants that sell local, fresh brilliant food which is a great shame as it has a full larder but The Fife Arms ticks all the boxes! If you want a guaranteed brilliant meal that u will love every mouthful then head here! What a winner!

We were passing through and so pleased we stopped and found your café. Your daughter makes the best scones I have tasted in years, and the flap Jacks were delicious. Some great gifts and art, in the gallery. Hope to return in the future.

A bit hidden no much signage this is a former bank loads of seating very nice and clean friendly staff coffee very good along with my bacon roll

Great local pub which also serves food. Cosy decor and lovely people in it. Worth a pint and food.

First visit here for me and my husband but our friends we were with had been before. Really lovely staff, helpful and attentive. I decided to go for the Prawn Marie Rose salad for my main course. I asked the waitress what the salad consisted of as didn’t just want a mediocre salad. However, I was disappointed. My salad consisted of a larger serving of leaves the same as my husband had as a side salad for his burger, 4 long slices of cucumber, a helping of Prawns in Marie Rose sauce, a sliced beetroot, a pickled onion and a helping of grated cheese that looks the same as the bagged ready grated cheese from Tesco. All this for £24.45. Definitely not worth the money. I wish I had gone for the steak.

Has to be the cleanest fish and chip shop, let alone take away ive ever been inside of in all 25 years of not being able to cook lmao. I live nearby and I see the owner around all the time meticulously cleaning inside and outside the shop which im sure is what causes the area to smell lovely and it just looks spotless. But besides that, this is the crispiest and freshest chippy in Banff. Absolute win for me to be located on the same street (not my cholesterols tho ;)

Beautiful cullen skink,my husband always had their stovies, called on many occasions on our way back from the spotty bag shop,will be missed

Myself and my husband had lunch today.It was fantastic! The cafe is lovely Maltese themed and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We both had a Maltese ciabatta followed by a Maltese almond cake and was just superb!its not just Maltese food there is a good selection of menu and breakfasts.Will definitely recommend and will revisit soon x
