The best restaurants in North East Scotland

Has to be the cleanest fish and chip shop, let alone take away ive ever been inside of in all 25 years of not being able to cook lmao. I live nearby and I see the owner around all the time meticulously cleaning inside and outside the shop which im sure is what causes the area to smell lovely and it just looks spotless. But besides that, this is the crispiest and freshest chippy in Banff. Absolute win for me to be located on the same street (not my cholesterols tho ;)

This was our second time at Po Pia, loved it the first time and it didn't disappoint this time. Seven of us are there so we had a wide variety of food all was beautiful. I can thoroughly recommend the Geng Paneng, which was definitely my favourite. We will come again when next in the area.

Cervecería artesanal de Aberdeen que compite, y muy bien, con la presencia de BrewDog. Su bar está en una esquina del centro de la ciudad, con mucha presencia de locales así como viajeros que nos gusta la cerveza artesanal. Tienen unos 10 caños, que los sirven en media pinta (lo que es bueno para probar más cervezas); gran atención y música rock de fondo. Mesas pequeñas, medianas y para grupos grandes en el interior, y algunas pocas en el exterior. Para quedarse un par de horas y volver.

Great takeaway all the food was really delicious. good sized portions, ready on time to collect. There wasn't a lot left when we finished. This will be my regular from now.

Just drove from other end of town to find the place closed despite Google claiming they are open!

Comimos aquí tres veces durante nuestra reciente visita a Scarborough. Probamos una serie de platos, todos cocinados a la perfección y a un precio razonable. Propietarios / personal amable y servicial.

Food here is amazing. Portions are plentiful. Prices are excellent. This must be one of the best Indian Restaurants in Grampian Area.

Best in Aberdeen for gluten free by a huge margin. Menu is about 90% GF (which is unusual in Asian food due to soy sauce not normally being GF.

Menu was very poor choice & nothing like on website. Ended up with a poor quality wine at £9.00 per glass & a chicken burger which I didn’t eat as boring (would have preferred a McDonald’s one which would have been a lot cheaper!) Husband had cheeseburger which was average, nothing special. Place is very dark & we needed our phones to read menu. Waitress wasn’t very good. Overall, underwhelming & disappointing!

Quality consistently high, quantity always good. The Sauces are always fill of flavour and meat/sides brilliant.
