Sweet Mumma's Kitchen in Aberdeen City

Lugar encantador para un baby shower. Ni demasiado grande ni demasiado pequeño. El té de la tarde era absolutamente delicioso. Sándwiches, salados, crema y mermelada de bollos, merengues de crema, macarrones y brownie de chocolate. . todos eran encantadores. Muy recomendable.

Después de haberme mudado a la zona de Ferryhill hace aproximadamente un año y haber pasado por este café muchas veces sin venir, decidí pasar por aquí hoy con mi hijo para almorzar. El café estaba impecablemente limpio, esperamos unos minutos para sentarnos, nos dieron el menú principal, así como el menú de la 'Semana del Restaurante de Aberdeen' también. Elegimos este último, que era excelente relación calidad-precio a £ 15 por cabeza! Opté por un sabroso bagel y mi hijo tomó un panini. La comida estaba caliente, el servicio era bueno, amable sin ser dominante. Un buen almuerzo en un entorno agradable. Sin duda recomendaría el café, este puede ser mi nuevo lugar de embrujo, ahora que sé que también hacen comida para llevar!

Llegamos a este lugar para un desayuno tardío ya que estaba demostrando en línea que podíamos conseguir el desayuno hasta las 11 am, que al final no tuvimos como llegamos a las 10 : 45 am . . . . . así que la camarera mencionó que llegamos demasiado tarde para el desayuno, incluso si todavía teníamos 15 minutos . . . y ninguna flexibilidad en absoluto. Así que fuimos a almorzar temprano, lo cual fue bueno, pero ese era el plan inicial

Hermosa pequeña cafetería local. Visité los últimos 2 viernes para almorzar con amigos. No había almorzado aquí por un tiempo y realmente disfrutó de la adición de Bagels y otros nuevos elementos al menú. Buen toque teniendo una degustación de la sopa del día junto con los bagels / envolturas (la sopa estaba deliciosa). Admite perros, espacioso y relajado. Will siempre eligió un lugar como este sobre una gran cadena sin alma!

Tenía una recomendación para venir aquí para el desayuno. Busqué en línea antes de salir de nuestro hotel y decía en el sitio web que el desayuno se servía hasta las 11 am. Nos apresuramos a llegar a tiempo y llegamos a un restaurante bastante vacío a las 10 . 50 am. Nos quedamos esperando a que nos sentaran sin acuse de recibo mientras la camarera atendía las dos únicas mesas ocupadas. Cuando ella vino a nosotros nos informó de desayuno terminado a las 10 . 45 y no podríamos comer de ese menú. Traté de explicar que nos habíamos apresurado y salimos de nuestro camino para comer aquí y que decía en línea que podíamos pedir hasta las 11 am. No hay flexibilidad de ella a pesar de que todavía se podía oler el desayuno desde la cocina. Realmente decepcionante y se fue sintiendo como si no les importara en absoluto!

Really beautiful cafe with flowers everywhere and very tastefully done up. The cafe is very clean and the service is great. I had a delicious coffee with oat milk, a sparkling water and then a green tea. The tea was served in a pale pink teapot with a pale pink teacup and saucer. I had The Highlander breakfast - this is a burrito containing egg, sausage, bacon and black pudding, with hashbrowns and brown sauce on the side. I can't wait to come back with friends and family!

Gem of a coffee shop/cafe. Floral pink decor. Good food. Breakfast burrito and chorizo potato hash. Two coffees. All very good. Friendly attentive service in lovely surroundings.

Lovely independent cafe with great food, staff and ambience. Can be hired for private functions and held my daughters hen party there. Special place.

Excellent (seemingly quite hidden) wee gem. Staff lovely and helpful, food excellent. We had toastier, paninis and a bagel. All extremely tasty, freshly made. Wee taster of soup of the day is a really neat wee touch and great idea. Also delicious homemade coleslaw.

Excellent grilled breakfasts and great lunch menu. They do outside catering and private bookings/events for up to 28 folks. Great wee venue here.

I came here for the first time on Saturday around 10:30. The food was spot on. I had a black pudding breakfast roll and it was very tasty. The service was very good. My waitress (the blonde one) was 👌. The prices were reasonable. I was £4.25 for my breakfast roll which was fair. There was no customer WIFI (the only reason for me not giving 5/5) so maybe something for the management to look into. Overall very nice and I will definitely come back again soon.

Visited here due to word of mouth comments. So glad I listened, the quality of the breakfast items and the oat milk latte was off the charts! The owner was a delight to talk to and service was swift and efficient. Will return asap.

Had a great lunch here and loved the decor. A dog friendly place and great friendly service. We had a panini and soup which was delicious and I’d have no hesitation in recommending here. We will definitely be going back.

Finally got a chance to visit here on Tuesday and it was delicious. There was a wide range of food options on offer at a really reasonable price. Loved the little taster soup cup as well that came with the sandwiches. The owner was lovely and was chatting to my kids. She did a brilliant job of running the front of house single handily and food came out super quick. Would highly recommend.

We went as a family three mornings on the trot for breakfast. Easily the best breakfast I’ve tried in Aberdeen, and further afield!! Aberdeen suffers from a lack of local independent, but those that exist are top quality - Sweet Mumma’s Kitchen is welcome addition to this elite group!! The quality of the produce is top class……..the setting within the arches of the railway bridge is so cool………and as for the host - brilliant!! We’ll be back as a family……..I’ll need to make this a lunch location as well, handy walking distance from work! Love it

It's always hard to find somewhere which does a good breakfast and also accepts your pooch (always a hit or miss in Aberdeen), but no issues here with Sweet Mumma's Kitchen, who gave Stitch, our working cocker spaniel lots of love and attention. Located in the railway arches close to Union Square shopping centre and within easy reach of offices in that area, the cafe was busy with a great vibe about it, with many regulars who were on first name terms wiht the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, we were even offered a bowl of water for the dog - great touch! Breakfast arrived piping hot and was prepared with good quality and fresh ingredients and was really well presented. Will be back for sure!

Under new management since August 2020. I eat lunch here two times per week, as close to my work. Food is high quality and service friendly.
