Peasholm Grill House in Aberdeenshire

We visited on a Thursday evening for a meal and drinks. We found the service excellent and were impressed when they accommodated two customers who turned up after the grill had been switched off for the evening. I had home baked half a steak pie - excellent value at £9.95. I’m glad I didn’t order the large version as mine was a hearty meal. Plenty of meat in the pie and lovely pastry. The chunky chips were crispy and tasty and even the peas (which are usually nondescript) were great. My wife had grilled chicken - she loved the grilled taste but was glad she asked for gravy on top - just gave it that extra tenderness. My wife had a generous portion of hot chocolate fudge cake to follow. Total bill including a bottle of wine, pint of lager and a G&T was £57. All the staff were really friendly.

Just had the best burger I have ever eaten at the Peasholm Grill House Scarborough. We where made most welcome and my wife had the gammon steak cooked to perfection and I myself had the 18oz tower burger which was so juicy and flavourful we would both recommend this establishment to any one and will definitely be returning.

decided to eat here as looked busy every time we passed on way back to our holiday booking. Very friendly staff, very accommodating regarding slight alterations to food order one VERY fussy eater in our party so this went a long way !. Food was presented well, was hot and very tasty!! Try it ,i'm sure you won't be disappointed .

There was 8 of us with a baby. We had A very warm welcome and very nice food I would highly recommend. The host even went out to buy apple juice for my little girl. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Top class food served by friendly people nothing too much trouble. Really is an hidden gem this place even if your staying at South Bay it's worth the walk for a quality meal

Classic case of not judging somewhere on appearances. Booked here as wanted somewhere on Sunday night, it turned out they accepted the booking in error but honoured it and opened when they hadn't intended to. Steak was wonderful and the whole experience rounded off what had been a great stay in Scarborough. Really good value and would wholeheartedly recommend

My husband and I dined here whilst on a short break for a big birthday. Having read the good reviews online, we booked a week ahead. I'm on a diet so emailed asking if I could have baked or boiled potatoes instead of chips. Sarah emailed straight back to say it was no problem and I chose a baked potato. When we arrived on the day of our booking, the restaurant was empty and we were amazed to realise they had opened especially for us!! We were so touched because most places would have just contacted and cancelled our booking, but not here. Sarah was absolutely lovely. So friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and she had remembered my order! We both had the sirloin steak - mine rare and hubby's medium rare. We have been to lots of places for steak but the steak here was cooked perfectly by Nicky. It was lean and thick. I had a very generous side salad and my husband had chips and onion rings (plus mine!). The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Everything was freshly cooked. We didn't have room for dessert but we did have coffee, which came in huge cups and was also delicious. The prices here were very reasonable for quality ingredients and although we don't visit Scarborough often, we will definitely eat here when we come again.

Called in here prior to a concert. Lovely welcome, and brilliant service from a very professional and friendly lady. I had the Beef Stroganoff, which tasted amazing.
