The best restaurants in Heldon and Laich Moray Highlands and Islands

Tucked away on a road in the middle of nowhere really this understated restaurant does a mean Indian. Although the decor and toilets could do with a bit of love and attention the food here was amazing. Fresh tasting, well prepared dishes and lots of trade for both eat in and takeaway meals. Quite possibly one of the best Indian meals we have had for a while. If ever your this far North, it is well worth a visit.

Amazing sweet shop just 2 minute walk from the bridge at East Beach. Great selection of sweets. Slush and ice cream Machine too. Her tablet is second to none. She does sweetie cones for kids party favours too and very reasonably priced. Always goes above and beyond for her customers. Definitely a must visit in Lossie.

I'm hoping this is the right place opposite a caravan park little green cart nice women making coffee and the cakes was brilliant almond slice was the best hopefully be visiting in September or October so hopefully be open for more cake 😁

We visited Seasonal Flavour when they were at the Braemar Gathering. I enjoyed a fantastic Highland Venison Burrito. One of the few times I've had venison. And a Crispy Buttermilk Wild Pheasant Sandwich with fries. My husband loved it, my kids loved it. Great meal!

The food was amazing, definitely worth visiting Lossiemouth for this restaurant. Just remember to reserve in advance.

Just popped in for a Feta Salad. They accidentally put avocado in it, but asked if that was OK before serving it. It was more than OK - it was delicious - took the slight edge off the feta. Very tasty.

Great ice cream at Rizza Ice Cream Shop. Flavors I haven't even had in Italy. Pink grapefruit and blood orange are worth trying.

Delicious! Lovely to walk along the beautiful beach with an ice cream in hand. There was a queue but it went down quickly. There are potentially too many flavours but we just used that as an excuse to have to visit more than once!

Great location, attentive staff and the food is good if a little limited and very pricey. However if you are just looking for a coffee and a cake stop, then this has it all :-) ps, the local Cullen Skink is to die for 👍

This is a lovely restaurant, just reopened with a new chef. Excellent service, couldn't have done more for us. The food was great, best curry we've had for a long time. I went with my husband and son and we all enjoyed our meal.

Wow! Wow! And thrice, Wow! What a wee gem. Great location, friendly and welcoming - really hospitable! Dog friendly Great coffee! And I haven't mentioned the food yet! The scones are to die for, and all pieces are homemade and on the premises. First time I have ever had pesto with a scone, and OMG, did it work! Will definitely be back again (and again and again)! Cannot recommend this wee cafe highly enough.

Great little cafe. It is very busy, so may need to book or wait. Great selection of food and staff friendly. Plan to go back!
