We were a bit disappointed this trip. The veg curry with the biryani was tasteless but sweet The special garlic curry was also tasteless and sweet and very coloured red with artificial food colouring They don’t seem to blend their sauces, everything had huge chunks of onions The naga mirchi is good, and HOT But everything else we tried was disappointing Rice is expensive

Just popped in for a Feta Salad. They accidentally put avocado in it, but asked if that was OK before serving it. It was more than OK - it was delicious - took the slight edge off the feta. Very tasty.

Each time we visit there's always something new to try. Great service and an amazing selection of different products all at great prices. Friendly service and always remembers what we like to buy regularly, great touch! Definitely recommend to everyone!

We loved our visit to the Coffee Cart after a riverside walk. Run by a lovely, chatty lady from Lossie, the coffee was delicious. We didn't eat cake, but they looked delicious. Highly recommend.

We visited Seasonal Flavour when they were at the Braemar Gathering. I enjoyed a fantastic Highland Venison Burrito. One of the few times I've had venison. And a Crispy Buttermilk Wild Pheasant Sandwich with fries. My husband loved it, my kids loved it. Great meal!

We went here to get some food for a beach picnic and this lovely local sandwich bar did not disappoint! They had a nice selection of bread/rolls to choose from as well as an array of freshly prepared fillings. They have homemade soups and homebaking available too. Sausage rolls are to die for - so you need to try them! All very reasonably priced too. Oh and if you like your fish - they have a fresh fish counter too!

The occaision was my Aunt's 90th Birthday and 3 members of her family and their partners, belatedly gathered in her hometown of Lossiemouth as were unable to attend the actual Birthday in January. We read reviews and preferring a small local restaurant, and wanting to treat her to something really special, Willi and his team did not disappoint! From making the booking, all queries were answered promptly and suggestions made in a very helpful way ensuring that our Aunt had the very best time. The place itself was very smart with a wood burner and comfortable chairs, local artwork on the walls and excellent friendly staff who are well informed with regard to the food and what the chef can do if an alternative is needed from the menu. The food itself was sublime, beautiful fresh fish imaginatively presented with interesting flavours Willi really knows how to pair ingredients to make something spectacular. Great wine excellent food, the place was doing an absolutely roaring trade on a Thursday, every tabke was taken, do yoursrlf a favour and come here!

Sooooooo overpriced!!! I got a roll that the bread disintegrated when I picked it up and 2 slices of just cooked bacon for £4.80 hilariously i paid £2 for a tattie scone that was uncooked 🤢 i had taken 2 bites out of the roll before I realised that it was warm but not cooked. The others I was with said their food was edible but for the price would it expect it to be at least nice 🤷♀️ save your money and go somewhere nicer for breakfast! The restaurant was cold, we sat with jackets on as most others were doing as well which didn't help with the non welcoming atmosphere. The lady serving was chatting to people who she must have known. I had to wave at her after waiting 15 minutes to get served. My last point is the 1 toilet. There must be others but there was no mention of another toilet by the waitress when she seen a queue of customers waiting.

Popped into The Bothy for morning coffee and a scone with a friend. Alas no scones - plenty of sweet cakes which we did not really fancy in the morning. So I asked if we could please have toast but the waitress didn't think so. I asked if she would mind asking in the kitchen which she did and she came back and said no sorry you can't have toast.I should have known because we had heard the gentleman next to us ask if he could have a roll with bacon and Lorne sausage together. The waitress said they did not like to deviate from the menu. On the menu there was a bacon roll and there was a Lorne sausage roll but they could not put that into one roll . Surely you try to please your customers if you want them to come back. I know my friend and I will not be rushing back.

An okay cafe. Although, since it has come under new management it doesn’t seem to have the same ambience. The menu is very limited. Weirdly for this day and age there is no vegan or vegetarian breakfast option. They will cut out the meat if you ask but I cannot understand why they can’t add this option to the menu. Despite mentioning this on several occasions this has never been taken on board. I think it is the exact same menu they put in place a year or so ago when they took over.
