So lovely everyone was so welcoming and inclusive made us feel like part of the community. Food was very tasty the brownies are to die for proper chunks of chocolate and bought some artwork which is beautiful. If we loved locally we'd be there all the time. 100/10

Today we saw on Facebook that the Black Pearl was open. We spotted this place 15 months ago but never got the chance to go until now. We cut it fine with 25 minutes until closing. However, the staff were superbly patient while we ordered up. Between us we ordered three chilli pies, one jerk chicken pie and one toastie from the lunch menu. The food is amazing ! The tastes were just superb ! And don’t be fooled by the description of toastie, it’s a taste explosion ! After finishing our meal ( value for money can’t be beaten on the NC500 by the way ), although closed, the staff were more than happy to chat to us for a while and talk about their menu and drinks Which brings me onto their own rum punch, just buy it. It will make you a happy bunny ! Don’t forget to buy their own jerk jam and hot honey ( along with a bottle of ready made punch ) on the way out. Can’t recommend this stunning little place full of atmosphere enough.

Our family of four stopped over for a night towards the end of the NC500. Good comfortable and clean family room overlooking the loch. Had everything we needed for the night. Would have been nice to have had a cooked breakfast before the next long drive but continental supplied in the room - this was known in advance so no issue.

I went there for lunch with my husband, daughter and two friends. The garden is gorgeous, the barn is cosy and imaculate, with an amazing view over Little Loch Broom and with a wooden fire. Linda and Mike were extremely friendly. The pancakes were delicious, big portions and they all arrived at the same time. The chocolates were scruptious and they had some toys and colouring for our 5 year-old. We will definitely cine back!

Came here during a ride out from home on my Harley. Opted for Quiche, salad and a banana and strawberry smoothie. Food was totally delicious and I was able to get a table outside to both watch my bike, enjoy the sun and the amazing view. Highly recommend The Alley for an excellent lunch.

Friendly, welcoming volunteers, and lovely home baking. There was a wide range of cakes, scones, traybakes, shortbread, etc, on offer - we were spoilt for choice. It's definitely worth a visit and a great way to support the local community.

Whilst staying in Glenelg we took a trip on the Skye ferry and this place is set overlooking the ferry crossing on the Glenelg side. It serves great hand ground coffee and delicious cakes (including a coconut sponge which was brilliant. Also from the car park here you can sometimes see some of the area’s wildlife and we were lucky to see a pair of beautiful white tailed sea eagles. Well worth a visit.

On our holiday in Glenelg we popped into this cafe, which is popular with both locals and visitors. We only had coffee, but the food on offer looked very tasty. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking nearby. Overall a nice place for a snack. Highly recommend.

Very nice sandwiches on granary bread - large and tasty. We had the egg mayo and tuna mayo. Friendly and efficient service. Recommended!

Great coffee and sandwiches right off the highway. This is a little horse carriage stand, offering quick bits to get you back in the road. Offered both meat and veg sandwiches that were hot and delicious! Caramel coffees were yummy too! Satisfied us and our teenage son. This is right past the railroad tracks, so keep an eye out for the flags and signs by the highway.
