Whilst staying in Glenelg we took a trip on the Skye ferry and this place is set overlooking the ferry crossing on the Glenelg side. It serves great hand ground coffee and delicious cakes (including a coconut sponge which was brilliant. Also from the car park here you can sometimes see some of the area’s wildlife and we were lucky to see a pair of beautiful white tailed sea eagles. Well worth a visit.

Lovely homemade lunches and coffee and cakes available at this stop before the Glenelg-Kylerhea ferry. Tiny but lots of choice, and a lovely gift shop too. We had hot cheese and onion pasties, homemade cake (including some of the best lemon polenta cake I’ve ever had), and ginger beer. New treats were being made behind us in the kitchenaid mixer as we enjoyed the view from inside the cafe over to Skye and the ferry. 10/10 would recommend to extend your visit to the turntable ferry and wildlife hide. As others have noted the nearest public toilets are in the Glenelg community hall in the village or at the other side of the ferry.

Lovely cafe, great tea and coffee, delicious cakes. All with an amazing view. Came here on our way to get the ferry and it was well worth it - though it cost me more than expected as I ended up buying a sweatshirt 😊

We called last week and had a lovely little brunch. Home baked goodies available so we had a sausage roll, a ham and cheese turnover and a piece of carrot and walnut cake. All were lovely - tasty and fresh. It was a glorious day so great to sit at the picnic bench and watch the seals and share our crumbs with a little robin that visited our table. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for the great service and provision! There are no toilets at the cafe as they are not on mains water supply however that is clearly notified at the door along with details of where the loos are in Glenelg Village or over at the Bird Hide across on Skye.

This is a great place to get a coffee while waiting for the Glenelg-Skye Ferry or just waste some time watching the water and the wildlife. Great coffee with home made cakes and savouries and even ice cream! Highly recommended

This was the best coffee I had in Skye. They roast their own beans and it shows in the quality of the coffee. The location is lovely as well, there is an outside patio for seating that has beautiful views of the bay. Sweet treats were delicious, too (I recommend the cherry shortbread). Overall highly recommended.

Recomiendo.

Excellent service as always from Roddy and the team for yet another buffet order. Delicious food and perfectly wrapped to accommodate allergies. The sausage rolls and leek & cheese quiches are a must! Thanks again.
