Excellent service as always from Roddy and the team for yet another buffet order. Delicious food and perfectly wrapped to accommodate allergies. The sausage rolls and leek & cheese quiches are a must! Thanks again.

Nice place, nice coffee and scones. Very limited menu, no Scottish breakfast, for example. No lunches, just cakes.
Also full of original art, various sizes, pretty decent too.
Very impressed. Jenny and partner who run it are very sociable. Both very knowledgeable about everything on the island and were keen to talk me through what there was to see and do on Rum and all aspects of living there.
The shop also operates as a community hub and is a great place to meet and hang out with whichever islanders happen to be there. Everyone without exception was very friendly and welcoming.
You can get a tea or coffee there. Jenny didn't have any soup on but kindly said I could buy a tin and she'd heat it in the microwave.
The shop itself is really well stocked. Wish I'd known just how well stocked and I would have saved myself the weight and capacity of bringing things from the mainland.
Things I bought included a box of grapes, crisps, a tin of sweetcorn, soup and roll, a coffee, a laminated OS map of Rum, a pie, ground coffee, an Our Wullie gift box and tablet.
Things that were available included eggs, cheese, milk, fresh fruit and veg, bread, all manner of tinned goodies, pasta, rice, soft drinks, alcohol. The shop also operates as a post office some of the time. Perhaps best to get in touch if you're not sure whether they will stock something.
Definitely the place to head to when you land and to meet some really kind and interesting people as well as stock up.

Really cool pub in Inverness. Delicious, varied beer, delicious food (burgers and local dishes) and live music. Great atmosphere for a cozy entertaining evening.
Amazing breakfast, we went ad a family, we got the last table but everyone came in had reserved a seat, even for breakfast which is a good sign!
I ad the Halloumi flatbread, wife had French toast with fruit compile and daughter the French toast with bacon. All so delicious. Coffee, chai latte and hot chocolate next level. Will be back again without doubt. The staff super attentive and friendly.
Highly recommend.
Food and service were good. The ambience has absolutely nothing to do with a restaurant. It was freezing cold and the radiator running didn't make much difference other than noise. You should dress warmly.
I love Island Larder, unfortunately I live in Cambridgeshire UK so I buy on line. They sell the most incredible Mallow (Marshmallow), Fudge, Peerie Nips which a chocolate in the shape of shot glasses with great fillings. Then there is their Scottish Tablet which beautifully creamy and for me, the very best that I have tried, not forgetting the Puffin Poo! I hope one day to visit them until then I will continue online shopping. I highly recommended this wonderful company.
A lovely little bakery in Brora
Very helpful & friendly staff
Such a choice of pies cakes & bread
Very busy little bakery with people queuing for the carpark
