The best restaurants in Dumbarton West Dunbartonshire Glasgow and Surrounding

Have been here many times and is definitely my favourite spot locally, the owners are brilliant and their menu is extensive, food is always lovely and their coffees are very nice too! Great selection of cakes on offer too if you just fancy heading in for a coffee and a cake, definitely up there with Dumbarton's finest :)

Lovely open sandwhiches! we felt so welcome. The cakes looked amazing (although I didn’t have one as my sandwhich was more than enough) I will have to get one next time. Quality food

Everything about this magnificent cafe is astounding - sensational, friendly service; a diverse and delectable menu with a range of tantalising and decadently delicious dishes; expertly brewed coffee and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. My friends and I feel that this marvel deserves all the respect and recognition in the world - it is truly the best possible start to the day! Located directly beneath Dumbarton East Train Station - so perfectly situated too x

Epic from start to finish never had a bad meal from here. We travel from Glasgow just for the tacos on the regular because there so good.

The best steak pie I’ve ever eaten in my life. Katherine assisted me with our order and she could not be more pleasant to work with. Even the delivery driver was exactly on time and delightful funny and engaging. Strangely, the grill offers chicken enchiladas. This was as tasty as food I’ve eaten in Mexico and the heat level and Mexican spices were outstanding. We will order again from there tomorrow due to delicious food and charming staff.

I wouldn't even feed this slop to my dog never mind a child (kids breakfast). Items missing and everything including the rolls soaking wet 😂 phone them up and get talked down to, apparently everything is wet because of the scrambled eggs in the kids breakfast? I hope this isn't also the case for the rolls n sausage, that I didn't ask for eggs with, as my girlfriend cannot eat eggs!!!!!! This is genuine cross contamination and dangerous. First and last time customer.

Fantastic family run buffet, always a very warm welcome. The selection of food is ideal for our group of friends, and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Planning our next visit soon.

We found this Cafe using Trip Advisor on our way to Girvan. Just 5 minute detour from the main road, was worth it. No parking by the premises, so parked just around the corner. 2 minutes walk. Cafe was welcoming, light and lively. Coffee for myself and Wife, and my daughter had smashing mango smoothie. Our waitress was nice and friendly. Recommended for a quick stop from Coffee or a snack.

The Gossip Shop closed a while back and has reopened as “Inn Defence” a coffee, burger and vinyl record shop. It has great coffee and a ton of vegan options, from homemade sausage patties for the crispy rolls, burgers, pancakes and tray bakes.
