Met up with family …service and food was excellent great value lunch menu also had so much left got it bagged for taking home will defo return place was that busy they were having to turn ppl away at one point

5 star staff , 5 star food , very large portions, must be up there as one of the best in Scotland.

I’ve just had the most perfect lamb karahi I’ve ever tasted and it was in this little humble Indian restaurant. The service was spot on not too attentive but not under whelming either. Atmosphere almost put you in India. With authentic Indian music playing but not too loud. The Food was amazing and the beer was very cold which hit the spot very nicely. I will definitely be coming here again for a meal. Thank you guys.

Bland tasting food, appalling music and boring decor .This is what happens when there is not much competition in the area for Indian cuisine. How does 6 slices of cucumber and a quarter of a tomato constitute a salad?🤔🙄

Visiting UK and going to loch Lomond and stop here on the way. What a surprise. All Halal menu and very tasty food. Service was excellent, and the ambiance is very desi and nice. Pretty decent free parking option and just adjacent to a C-store if you like to put gas and buy stuff at the same time.

Absolutely loved the food. You couldn't beat the food or the size of the portions. Staff were lovely. And the prices were great will definitely be back soon.

Food was amazing. I did have Indian food in my life before and this restaurant seems to beat them all (taking to consideration restaurants not only in UK!). Apart from that there is lovely "home-like" atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was delicious and portions were huge. We did fail to complete the mains - that means a lot. Thanks again, we will be back definitely.

We discovered this place by accident several months ago. Ever since then, we regularly do a 110 mile round drive to eat here. The food is beyond excellent. The staff are lovely. The prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit!

Highly recommend Masala Twist, Dumbarton. Warm welcome, friendly team servicing us, food was extremely plentiful and high fresh quality, the Naan Breads are show stoppers, wow!! My Pashwari Naan and Haggis Pakora was best I have ever had, and both myself and my son agree that the food was amazing, thankyou

By far the worst Indian food we’ve had in Glasgow. Got chicken tikka masala and it had no flavour - just loads of red chilli powder flung in it. Dal was okay. Portions were big but flavour was bad.

My wife and I were staying over at the Travelodge nearby and I went over to order supper. I specifically told the young man who took my order that I needed disposable plates and cutlery. He said, "No problem". The order was cooked in a reasonable time. As Storm Agnus was raging it was chucking down with rain and I was soaked, despite having my coat on. I was getting my wet gear off in our hotel room and my wife sorted the food ready for eating, however there were no plates or cutlery. I had to redress and run over, I wasn't happy! The man who took the order was on his phone the whole time I was there and kept a safe distance. I was sorted with cutlery but I was even more soaked by the time I got back. A point to note is that I asked for two separate meals with one rice and a garlic nan and the price was quite a bit more than a set meal for two, although in fairness there was enough food for breakfast the next morning. The food was really nice but I got the hump due lack of professionalism at some point in the chain.

Food is delicious and well priced for the portion sizes. Staff are friendly. There is no music or anything playing in the background that brings the atmosphere down a bit.

The best Indian food I have ever eaten! Absoloutley Devine

My friends and I enjoyed dining at this Indian restaurant together twice. We loved sampling their flavourful biryani, signature curries and dessert of ice cream with Gulab jamun. The interior was clean, inviting and tidy. The staffs were exceptionally friendly. Overall, we had a comfortable ambiance with attentive service. We appreciate the care put into the food and warm atmosphere at this restaurant. It has now become our regular group spot when we enroute to Scotland. We happily recommend it to others seeking a quality dining experience together.

very good - from a drive-past you're not quite sure what to expect from this place tucked away off the main road - however inside is very pleasant casual atmosphere, with buzz from clean looking open kitchen & fine smells eminating forth. the proprietor and staff are welcoming and seem like good eggs. The grub is decent too - a cut way above yer standard scottish curry house ( thankfully) , and more authentic punjabi than yer usual. Agree with another review that states "last chance for a proper curry on your highland road trip!"

I was staying in the Travelodge next door and the Masala Twist was recommended by the young gentleman at reception. I found the staff very friendly and the restaurant clean with tasteful decor. The lamb tikka with garlic nan I ordered was excellent. Very tasty and reasonably priced. When staying at the Travelodge, I will visit again.

We dined in on a Monday night and the place was reasonably quiet. Staff attentive and food came quite quickly. I had South Indian chicken garlic chilli with a garlic naan. Both were tasty, the curry had a good flavour profile and chicken was tender. I would normally expect that dish to be a little bit hotter but it's variable between restaurants. Minus one point as no paper towels in the lavatory, just one of those electric hand driers. Gross.

This was a brilliant surprise as usually eateries next to a Travelodge are pretty generic. Masala Twist was the best "Indian" restaurant we have ever been to. Every dish was absolutely delicious, portions were super generous and the staff really lovely. They even do a mango lassi which doesn't happen many places any more. It was reasonably priced too. What more can I say - if you're anywhere nearby, try it!

Just passing through with work so I decided to call into this restaurant. This was definitely the best curry I've ever tasted. For starters I ordered the drums of heaven chicken wings, these were very nice, they really got my appetite going. For main course I ordered the Kangra Chicken with mushroom rice. Wow!!! The portions were huge. This was a great tasting curry, not too hot but a little more spice then a mild curry. The chicken was tender, cooked to perfection. The mushroom rice was also great with good chunks of juicy mushrooms. The flavours were amazing. With the curry, I ordered a peshwai naan. If I was only to be served the naan bread then I still would have been happy. The naan was outstanding, the best one I have ever had. All washed down with a lovely cold King Fisher beer. Unfortunately I live in Wales and don't think I'll be up this neck of the woods for a long while. One day I will come again to this restaurant. Overall outstanding food and great customer service. Excellent tasty food and very friendly staff, I mainly use this as a takeaway now, but it was pleasant to sit in the past too, the deliveries are always really quick and the quality is consistently good. It's in a really handy location for people travelling north on the A82 being so close by.

Excellent Indian restaurant. Very authentic and flavoursome food. The Chicken Tikka and Lamb Chops were the highlight. Great Saag Aloo, great to taste more than just potatoes and spinach like most Indians.

Went to Masala Twist for a takeaway for 4 people. More expensive than my usual takeaway, but more than worth it in terms of portion size and quality. Would definitely use again.

This is the first review I've ever done in over 45 years of eating out but felt it was important. Ordered fried rice and received boiled. The Rogan Josh came as though it was out of a jar. The couple at the side of me had another meal which was the same paste like mixture but a different colour. I only had two spoonfuls and was charged £25 for the pleasure. If others enjoy eating there, they need to get out more and try the authentic world of Indian cooking.

Food is excellant really enjoyed our meal here staff very polite and dont rush you How ever masala twist you need to do something about your toilets Not very clean even though resturant wasnt busy

Fantastic service of wonderful food at an amazing price. The £10.95 for 2 courses is outstanding when the portions are so generous. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I am sorry I live so far away from here or I would use it A LOT more often. I would recommend couples to split a portion of rice and split a nan bread as we both got one of each but then had to leave some food as we were too full to eat it all.

What a fantastic restaurant. Passed many times and last month decided to go in. Food, staff and service first class. We didn't like the peshwari naan we loved it! Definitely worth a visit.

We ate here on a visit to the area from Somerset and are seasoned curry lovers. The tandoori mixed grill was definitely the best one I’ve had anywhere, so was the peshwari naan. My wife had a chicken biryani which was very good but this dish just missed a 5 star hence the 4 star overall rating.Polite and friendly staff and quick service.

Recently visited Masala Twiat Dumbarton with my friends. Food was amazing customer service was good and pleasant atmosphere. Lamb chops were delicious. We ordered few curries and they were spot on. We enjoyed the evening. Well recommend.

Was visiting the Highlands in Scotland, travelled from Oxfordshire, was recommended this place by a family member. Delicious, spicy & tasty curry. A great spot to check out when travelling in that area. Customer service is great, there is parking on site also, which was very convenient. Their lamb curry was the highlight of the meal, traditional style recipes 👌

This place has let me down twice now, no more home delivery its a pity you can't put pictures on here I stay 5 minutes from the shop 1 hr and 10 mins to get my takeaway only to open the bag up and it was swimming the garlic mushroom sauce everywhere also the chicken pakora box was opened so the pakora was cold and like rubber this went in the bin had to try and clean everything before I could open it, happy to take the money and tell you up to 45 mins that was fine but to pass my house to go and do a delivery further away beggers belief

Lovely Indian restaurant on the way from Glasgow to Loch Lomand. Tried Veg Biryani which was quite authentic, with great aroma and spices. Naans were soft and well cooked. Overall all dishes ordered were really delicious enjoyed. Staff was polite, caring and attentive. I would strongly recommend to try out this restaurant.

One of the best curry houses around. If you like it hot the Madras is excellent here but not for the feint hearted. Staff helpful and efficient good amount of parking. Will definitely be coming here again.
