The best restaurants in Scotland

Our family party of 10 had a most memorable dinner this evening. Excellent-quality local food cooked to perfection. I had a pressed oxtail dish which was the most flavoursome beef dish I can remember. Superb. Thanks to all involved.

I love Baynes, the bakers, they beat Greggs any day of the week..

Afternoon tea cannot be faulted, beautifully set out, tasty, fresh and generous portions. I only have one thing which is negative, the place is quite congested and it was very warm, it’s like there’s no air conditioning. I felt uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend going here, you will certainly not be disappointed. Will definitely be going back.

I ordered 8 macarons; Biscoff, Lemon, Nutella, Oreo, Passionfruit and Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel and White Chocolate and all were delicious! The delivery from Perth, Scotland to Essex, England came with no issues and were delivered promptly and came well packaged. The design of box is elegant and well suited to ensure a safe delivery of the macarons without any worry of any being damaged in transit. Standout favourite flavour would be Lemon and the Biscoff macaron. I can't wait to try other flavours! - Highly recommend for treating yourself, business events or for your special day!

A light lunch of leek & potato soup followed by toasted cheese and salami roll. Tasty and hit the spot after large breakfast. Nice atmosphere, good menu and staff attentive. I feel a coffee coming on tomorrow!

Found this cute authentic Thai restaurant by chance. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I had the salt squid and pad thaiwhich were both great. My only slight niggle was that the pad thai had slightly too much sauce and not enough of a peanut taste. Generous amount though and I gobbled it all up, so a minor gripe.

Really beautiful hotel. The Torr kindly hosted a funeral tea for our family and were so welcoming. The food was lovely (especially the sausage rolls!), and the service was excellent.
