We went with our baby and dog a couple of times during our stay. The food, both sweet and savoury, is delicious. Fantastic selection of cakes with quite a few different to what you usually find in a tearoom (in a good way!). They do takeaway on some of the savoury options and the cakes if you can't get a seat as the cafe has limited seating.
Lovely, friendly staff who made us feel welcome.

This is a super cool cafe hidden down a lane. If I was under 35, kids free and went with a group, I would probably be giving it 4/5 stars. The burger was a bit too rich for me but tasty, the ice vanilla coffee delicious, service was really good too. I was there to check it out and see if the kids would enjoy it, but the loud, hardcore rap and the innuendo in the menu make it feel not child friendly. Don't want to spend my lunch explaining the meaning of swear words to my younger kid or watching my teenager die of embarrassment if I order the hot mother clucker (hilarious...until your mum orders it 🤣). I also just don't like listening to people raping about getting stabbed at a volume you can't filter out while munching a burger. it just feels wrong. Worth a visit, but maybe not for the kids.

Stayed there for one night and wished we’d stayed longer! Gent on reception was very attentive and polite on arrival.
Dined in restaurant and food was AMAZING!! Staff at dinner were very helpful and friendly. Room was great and spotless.
Breakfast and waitress service again, was 10/10! (#hotmilk 😉)
On departure we were chatting to same gent as check-in. We mentioned we had family event in afternoon and he kindly offered us use of room, if we wished, to change clothes.
We will definitely return.

The property is fantastic but Grace and the rest of the staff are what sets this hotel apart. Other hotels would benefit to learn from the outstanding hospitality provided here. My group can’t wait to visit again!
Lovely restaurant with great staff. Have been a few times and we really enjoy the papaya salad, pad pak choy, cashew stir fry, and all the chefs specials.
Easiest 5 star review I’ve ever given. Everything cooked fresh in front of my eyes, staff were excellent and the portion sizes are superb. Highly highly recommend going off route to experience this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Aileen was a great facilitator and it was an interesting class. It was insightful for me and my two friends who became aware of how inhibited we can feel as adults and when able to move beyond that, we enjoyed the benefit of laughter today.
Thos place is nice and quiet with beautiful interior with lovely gardens to the back of it which you can walk around on a beautiful day the food is to a high standard and the service is also to a high standard
We booked for the lunch menu and were impressed with the price and range of options. Bruschetta was so fresh with a beautiful pesto over it and soup was a large serving and tasty. Pizzas were freshly made to order and deliciously authentic. Service had a great balance between discreet and attentive. We will be back.
La mejor comida india que hemos probado en mucho tiempo! El pollo con mantequilla era el mejor. El personal era increíble, no podía recomendar este lugar lo suficiente!
¡Es una lástima que no esté en Leeds!
Absolutely fabulous food and service. 😍 We decided against going to the 'Indian' restaurant in Peebles due to its horrendous reviews. 😱 If you are nearby you must try this one instead. (sit in or takeaway). It was one of the best, if not the best, Indian meals we have had. 😋 We had poppadoms, a mixed sharing platter, two tasty curries, a nan bread and pilau rice. With drinks it cost us only £60. The owner & staff were friendly and subtly attentive sharing local knowledge of attractions and events after our meal. 😁 A lovely & honest family business worth supporting. 😎
If you are anywhere near Gairloch be sure to drop in and see Hannah, Jane, Ruth, Hanna’s Mum and Sally. They are all so welcoming and friendly. The coffee and food are great too. We spent 3 weeks in Gairloch and went in everyday and had most things on the menu over that time for breakfast, brunch or lunch and quite a few of the cakes!! It was all delicious.
