Garvock House Hotel in Fife

Brilliant hotel. Central location. Lovely secluded grounds. Quiet. The staff were great. But the stand-out feature is the food. Best dinners I've had in a hotel for years. I hope I can get back some day.

The food here is mind blowing, best meal I've ever had, service was faultless, room was great. Thank you for a great experience, I'll be back soon :)

Me and my new wife Sam would like to send a big thank you to the garvock house hotel for there excellent hospitality and professionalism in making our big day very special. The whole staff were magnificent from the get go and nothing was to much trouble. The wedding was amazing from start to finish and everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If anyone is looking for an amazing venue for there wedding then I would 100% recommend the garvock house hotel. This hotel went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations. They were exceptionally clean, the food was incredible, the bed was comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The staff were simply wonderful, warm and welcoming. The decor was brilliant and honestly they whole experience was like a dream. After a day of exploring Scotland it felt like coming home. Thank you so much for a happy and memorable experience, and for anyone who is reading this and wanting to stay, there is plenty of parking, the hotel is pet friendly too, breakfast is delightful and most importantly for me they really take care of you if you have food intolerances.

Went here for an afternoon tea with my daughter for our birthdays 🎂 🥳 🎉 The lady who served us was lovely. Our afternoon tea was delicious 😋 😍 Plenty of sandwiches and the sausage rolls were yummy. As for the cakes, I was in heaven Beautiful hotel and lovely gardens. Will be returning Thank you

We spent 3 nights here over a weekend for our 40th wedding anniversary. Great location, you can walk into town in about 20 mins. My husband was watching football on Saturday and the DAFC stadium was just down the road. The room we had, a deluxe double, was beautiful, very spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated with seating so we could just sit and relax. The bathroom had a shower and a huge bath. We had breakfast every morning that included more than one cooked veggie choice, which is quite unusual in my experience. There was also a large range of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and pastries. We ate here one evening, a great home cooked quality meal, served in a well presented dinning room. The service from all staff throughout our stay was excellent, helpful, and polite. I would be very happy to stay at the Garvock House Hotel on another occasion when back in Dunfermline.

The hotel is clean, well-kept, with tasty food and friendly service. The room was cleaned every day.

Beware of paying any kind of deposit towards an event/wedding! I would just like to make any future couples who are considering booking the Garvock House Hotel for a wedding or wedding celebration aware that once you pay them a deposit they have no interest in helping you whatsoever! They will take a large deposit but don’t provide any kind of written contract with the terms and conditions of booking. This is strange considering they apparently “book hundreds of weddings each year”. You would think such an established hotel/wedding venue would have something in place to protect themselves and their customers. The only thing they offer is an apparent “verbal contract” so it’s basically your word against theirs and they will change their terms as and when it suits them! Over 5 months of notice given to you that we could no longer go ahead with that date as planned and not do much as an ounce of help from the Garvock. £500 for what?? We hadn’t even got as far as having a meeting with your co ordinator to discuss our requirements or what we would be looking for. Shameless!

Clean and comfortable rooms, 30 minutes from Edinburgh, incomplete breakfast, no one spoke a language other than the local one, the wonderful place surrounded by greenery, splendid gardens

A beautiful place surrounded by a garden with a well-kept lawn, wonderful trees and flowers. The staff were very kind, the rooms were comfortable, spacious, well furnished, comfortable bed and impeccably clean! We only stayed 1 night, shame! Also highly recommended for its location, about 30 minutes from Edinburgh.

We visited Garvock House Hotel for an evening meal. We were so pleasantly surprised with the friendly and well-trained staff, the exquisite food and the traditional decor and surroundings. We will be back😊

Was at this place for a 80th anniversary. Great hospitality shown us at the moment we walked through the door, to the wonderful staff and cooks prepared meals. Grounds for this place really to.

Family 21 st birthday ceilidh, good evening food, great dance band, superb location with easy parking and nice views over Dunfermline.

Great place to stay and hire out of a function room for wake. Nice little bar and dining area. Lovely grounds.

Great stay room was nice and bed was comfortable, dinner was a reasonable price for 3 courses bit small portions but not too bad, the service was remarkably slow though, I did find out later there was a bit party in another room that got priority over the individual guests so about 40 minutes between courses though I saw another guys that was at least an hour. General service was very good the staff are all friendly, again breakfast is small portions though good quality

Had a lovely stay with my family. All staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the barman with the tattoos and moustache. Great service!

Great Meal for Food Bank fundraiser!! Lovely afternoon teas served here with fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, and sausage rolls! 👍 Very popular for funerals with an excellent buffet!
