Was in on Sunday for lunch omg it was first class,we had roast beef an it was cooked to perfection veg a little underdone, then had pavlova so delicious 😋 staff very friendly and not over asking if everything was alright but were there if you needed anything, definitely worth the drive up (from portadown) would definitely go back
As a self proclaimed food snob I honestly could not fault our meal at The Boathouse Antrim!
Staying at a local glamping site not too far away we took a walk along the water front and spotted the restaurant. We went in with low expectations as we knew nothing of it or anywhere else in the area.
The weather was great and we asked to sit on the balcony outside which had a wonderful view of the water as the sun began to set, the balcony was lovely as it was open topped but had glass curtains the entire way round to break any wind if their was any.
We were both honestly blown away at how tasty both our meals were, everything fresh and full of flavour from starters, mains and desserts with plenty of variety to choose from.
We highly recommend The Boathouse and we most definitely would take a road trip in future to return!

Great place, many places outside the U.S that claim to be American diners just don’t get it right but this place is damn close, tasty food, good menu, friendly service, large portions & reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much we went back again the next night, definitely recommended.
food, staff and overall experience phenomenal. great service from all members off staff, all so attentive and friendly, the food is hard to top and prices are also great, beautiful altogether .
Pros: the food is fresh, crisp and delicious, probably the best cod I have ever tasted. The staff were polite and the whole place has an old timey charm. It was also very clean.
Cons: The prices are high, A cod filet on its own will set you back a tenner, more if you want chips. the waiting times are longer than average. my order was small but i was still sat there for about 20 minutes at peak time.
Conclusion: Expensive, but well worth the money if you have it to spare and are not in a rush. This is a very proud Chip shop and they have the awards and health ratings to back it up.
This was my favourite Indian restaurant was the best Indian and I did have a 5 star review but have change it now to 1 star I went all the time to this restaurant food was always great but unfortunately my last couple of visits the food has been cold and service very slow and the prices have gone up alot ! Very disappointed think they must have changed their chef as well as dishes taste different .
