Red Sail Room in the old Adelphi in Portrush, will make a great restaurant … some day, but not today.
The places has been closed and re-opened for some forthcoming major events in the area, and it feels premature. The decor and ambience are first class.
The restaurant was clearly understaffed, however the staff that were available were pleasant and hard working.
We (2 x couples) were given menus and immediately told that several items were unavailable and that the size of the steak had been incorrectly printed - but a great confidence boost right at the outset. This was followed by being told there was no wine list or cocktail list.
There was a substantial delay in taking our order due to the busyness of the place.
When starters arrived they were very nice, well presented and substantial. Main courses arrived promptly and were delicious.
Through the single lens of food quality, we had a great experience, however it’s very clear that the re-opening had been rushed to cash in on the motorcycle races and British Open in the next few weeks.
It would have been well advised to either drop prices for a soft launch, and delay opening until everyone and everything was ready.
I will go back, but not for a while.
Food really good ive been there twice in the last 4 months , the only thing that lets them down is the service, really bad at clearing tables etc , asked 4 times for the bill ..gets really annoying.....
Delightful restaurant in this lovely coastal location. Staff were welcoming, friendly and a source of local information. Meals were simple and delicious. Lavatory very clean. Very reasonable prices.

Ground Coffee Shop in Ballymoney is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The coffee is consistently top notch, rich, smooth, and full of flavour. They also offer a great selection of cakes and snacks that perfectly complement their drinks. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent service, adding to the welcoming vibe. Whether you’re after a quick coffee or a leisurely visit, Ground Coffee Shop is a must visit in Ballymoney. Highly recommend!
Was told delivery will be 15 minutes, waited nearly an hour, chips where freezing cold, pizza wasn’t much better, not happy at all and £35 down the drain, will not be back waste of money and time

The best pizza I've ever eaten and I'm a pizza snob ! Young friendly staff who keep the place spotless.
The fact that you can BYO for a very reasonable corkage fee makes for a cheap and cheerful evening out.
The atmosphere is good but I'm just surprised that the place is not bursting at the seams with customers as the pizza and service is much better than other popular pizza restaurants in the area.
Love this place ❤️

Absolutely loved my visit here on a busy nice warm sunny day. That didn't hold the staff back in making our toasties in any way. Within minutes of ordering we had our delicious toasties on the table.
We both had chilli chicken and cheese toastie. Chai latte and a tea. If I were to be super critical my chai latte wasnt just as sweet as Id normally have it however it was really good. Quite refreshing actually. And the correct temperature.
Recommend! Lovely atmosphere. Fast friendly. Delicious food. Yes yes yes.

Chocoa used to be the place to go for amazing hot chocolate in Ballymena, but it's really gone downhill recently. Before they closed the bistro, the quality had already started slipping. The service became sloppy, and the cosy vibe that made it special just wasn't there anymore. The hot chocolate itself, which used to be rich and delicious, became hit or miss—sometimes too sweet, other times thin and bland.
Now they've shut the doors and moved online, which honestly just feels like a letdown. Hot chocolate is something you want to enjoy in a nice, warm setting, not from a delivery box. It's sad to see a place that was once great lose its touch. If this is the direction they're heading in, it’s hard to get excited about what they’re offering now.
Another trip to north coast paused for lunch at this great place.Lunch was fine and the Guinness top notch. Must try and get to one of the many gigs some evening.
