Pizza Piccolo in Ballymoney

Was told delivery will be 15 minutes, waited nearly an hour, chips where freezing cold, pizza wasn’t much better, not happy at all and £35 down the drain, will not be back waste of money and time

Great food and reasonably priced. Delivery drivers are always very Friendly. I would recommend the rump steak and mushroom sauce.

Only takes cash Since we were only driving through Northern Ireland for a short time, we didn't want to exchange any money Otherwise you can pay for everything here by card 😩

Been eating from here for years and always loved the food. Tonight got my usual steak with a number of flies cooked inside, steak was delivered already cut in pieces. Absolutely don't recommend

If you don’t know where to eat or hesitating you’ll not be disappointed. Food is unreal, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I used to love this place, I used to get pepper sauce on my meal but then they decided to charge for that as it’s a “premium sauce” so that was nice of them. Then they increase their prices from £9 to £13 for the one item I usually get not including price increases across the board. They have also changed ( I assume) ingredients in some meals, pepper sauce was amazing now it’s like it’s watered down when you used to be able to taste the cream. Charging premium prices for sub par food. They were once very good.

Really tasty pizzas at an affordable price. You can now order via an app which is super helpful and then just pick up in-store. Just know that if you’re going in to order and pay in person it’s usually best to bring cash. Inside seating is also available if you want to eat in which is a good option.

Food has to be among the best in the town and girls that usually take your order couldn't be any nicer. Even when busy you aren't usually kept waiting too long

Best pizzas in Ballymoney. They use quality ingredients and have speedy service for collections, can't comment on delivery service. I would recommend using their online ordering service as it cash only at the shop. Good value for money. They also offer Pasta dishes, Salads and Kebabs. A must try place...😀

They do brilliant service. I have never gotten a bad pizza from them. Its always been good. I ring up then go and collect. No problems ever. In fact I seem to have put myself in the notion now. Ive made myself hungry thinking about them lol... Ill ring them and place an order and within 20mins Ill be down. Im pretty sure they deliver as well but im not far away so its a 5min car journey.. if you havent tried this place then you're missing out!

I won’t lie the food is nice but these guys can’t follow simple instructions to save their lives like salad specifics sauce specifics or the correct drinks or even the amounts of a certain item .... what they cook is nice it’s just a shame they have zero attention span and have never once got a whole order correct !

Stopped here on the way through. Did not disappoint. They have a great private sit in and the food is a great price. You can watch the pizzas being made in front of you. Definitely reccommend. We will be back

No entiendo la puntuación de esta pizzería en tripadvisor. Ya me ha pasado 3 veces en Irlanda que los restaurantes tienen valoración de 5 estrellas y dejan mucho que desear en cuanto a calidad. La pizza no es para nada excelente. Grasosa, una masa en plan telepizza pero peor. En el horario ponía que cerraban a las 23 y a las 21 ya no pudimos entrar en el restaurante. Dolor de tripa asegurado. La chica que cocinaba las pizzas fue muy amable. En la comanda hubo mucho lío, todo del revés, no nos entendían o estaban tan cansadas que no enteraban de nada.

By far the best in Ballymoney, great quality good at decent prices. Good service, polite and attentive staff. I also noticed they have a restaurant. Will be trying that on my next visit. If you haven’t tried here, you must!

I had a takeaway pizza from Pizza Piccolo on Monday night and it was honestly the best pizza I have had in a long time. I was delighted to see some more traditional Italian options on the menu and chose the rocket, basil, parmesan and mozzarella pizza. It was absolutely delicious and a fresh, welcome change from the pizzas loaded with toppings available everywhere. I am not from the Ballymoney area but I will be going out of my way to return to Pizza Piccolo. Congratulations and thank you for a lovely experience.

I love the pizza's here as made fresh from the dough plenty of toppings and fast service. The pasta carbonara I had was a but dry, prefer more sauce. Always get a takeaway pizza here to

Still the best in Ballymoney for great food at great prices. It doesn't look like there is a restaurant from the outside, but once inside, you wonder how you haven't noticed it from the outside. As always I received a friendly and polite service. They also now do SALT CHILLI CHIPS :D :D Thank you! They have quickly become my favourite, not only about the town but in the local area.

I trained many years ago in an Italian restaurant in cape cod Massachusetts where the Kennedy family frequented by an American Italian chef. I have had a love for Italian food ever since and regularly cook beef Ragu for family and friends. Tonight I ordered spaghetti bolognaise with a pizza. I can honestly say this is the best I have ever bought. Spaghetti perfectly al dente and amazing Ragu. This is such a great place and excellent value for money. Thank you again for delivering such a wonderful meal to my home in Ballymoney. Try it it is for real

Very good food. We went with the margherita pizza and garlic potatos. The service was great, the location was exceptional, and the price was perfect! One important now. Ensure you bring some cash as card was not available when we went and unfortunately we didn't notice the sign until after (our fault entirely), but a quick run to the ATM had it sorted out!

This is by far the best pizza anywhere in the north coast.

Came over from England to visit family and stopped off at Pizza Piccolo one night to eat in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish, both were amazing! Would highly recommend this place!

We had 2 takeaways in 2 weeks and both were excellent. Fresh tasting, home cooked and delicious. This is my favourite in Ballymoney by far. The pricing is excellent value and menu extensive. Will have to sit in some night.

Visited a couple of times during my stay in Ballymoney recently and went for a takeaway both times. The Bruschetta starter was tasty and the Penne Arrabbiata was excellent, nicely spiced and better than others I have had in Italian restaurants so credit where it's due.

Visited piccolo a few times now. I would highly recommend it to couples we had such a lovely dinner, great atmosphere, great service and on top of that we got a garlic bread pizza for free from the chief. Highly recommended!!!

Ballymoney mudado recientemente a. Intenté piccolo por primera vez esta noche tuve el escalope de pollo con salsa de hongos. Es la mejor comida que he probado en mucho tiempo. La comida era deliciosa y muy fresca. Sin duda volveré againn y yo también recomendaría este restaurante de comida para llevar.

Our family was passing through Ballymoney while on vacation from the USA. We didn't know where to eat so we pulled over the car and found Piccolo on TripAdvisor. We made our way to Main St and were greeted by a friendly team at what appeared to be a takeout. We asked if we could dine in and they said of course and took us into the dining area. They have a full menu. We enjoyed Chicken Parmesan (served on top of chips) and the highly recommended Pizza Piccolo (BBQ Chicken pizza). The pepperoni is made locally by a Polish family and is delicious. The Chicken Parmesan was flavorful and delicious too. The staff at the restaurant all spoke with us and welcomed us with wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of Ballymoney.

It's the only place to go in Ballymoney if you want a great tasting pizza at a very affordable price.I've tried a few things from the rest of the menu which wern't pizza related such as their spaghetti bolognese, baguettes, chips etc and they were all awesome.Very friendly staff too and excellant service.

We had a meal as takeaway rang and ordered our food the lady took the order was very polite my husband had a steak which he said was very good I has escalope of chicken which was delicious the kids has pizza highly recommend eating from here

Von aussen könnte man den Eindruck erhalten, dass dies nur ein Lieferservice ist, allerdings hat es im hinteren Teil ein paar wenige Tisch. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung ausserordentlich freundlich und der Preis ist viel zu tief :-). Ich wäre bereit für dieses Essen mehr zu zahlen.

Just had a really great meal in this lovely little restaurant. The cheese & garlic pizza starter was wholesome and tasty. Mains of pollo componollo, spaghetti bolognese was the best I've ever experienced. You really could taste the freshness of the ingredients. This is more than a little pizzeria, this is truly excellent food served by friendly, helpful and friendly staff.

Attending occasionally, I am always happy with the standard of my meal. And very hard to resist offers such as 2 for 1 on 10" pizza (Monday and Tuesday). Some of the best food in Ballymoney and definitely on my top 5 in Ballymoney.

I have eaten take away from here many times and always thought the food was superb. Recently I decided to call here with a few friends - remembering that they also offer a great sit in menu.Food was fantastic,Ingredients were top quality,Service was fast and friendly,Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.Great to see a team who are passionate about what they are serving you! Over the past few years I have been a fairly regular customer in the Picollo restaurant, Ballymoney, and I have never been disappointed at either the quality or presentation of the food. My family and I are always warmly welcomed by the owner and his very pleasant staff. When we don't have time to take a table in the restaurant, we use the take-away service, which is of an equally high standard.If you live in the area, and haven't paid a visit to Piccolo at the bottom of Main Street, I would highly recommend that you give it a try.
