The best restaurants in Belfast

I ordered the steak and guiness pie. What I got was gravy covered in cheesy mash which had been microwaved and served in a cereal bowl. I don't understand how they thought this was exceptable. My lunch was hot as it had been microwaved but the other lunches were cold. The two tables beside us had to send food back as it was cold. One of my family ordered a chicken noodle dish it was more like a starter with little to no veg in the dish. Very poor altogether ill not be back. They did take the price of the pie off the bill but that was the least they could do the waitress was lovely and friendly

Often you may find queues but I promise you it is worth the wait. The vibes inside is always positive and relaxed, the servers are friendly and take care with their service. Brew and Bake serve really excellent food and tray bakes, anyone with a sweet tooth must come here! We finished our lunch with their freshly baked brownies and it was to die for!

This place is great. The variety of food fantastic. It was unfortunate we only wanted coffee BUT on seeing the scones and tray bakes and the salads fish egg and just anything you wanted dishes were more than tempted. The staff were great the service excellent. The place was busy but nothing too much trouble for them . They also have high chairs and toilet facilities and a lift!! Thoroughly recommended.

Steak is amazing, best I’ve had. The atmosphere is lovely! The Prosecco was delicious! The service was fast but also really personable. Genuinely loved it!

These guys originally owned the takeaway in Crumlin. I now travel to them as their food is better, bigger portions and better value than the new owner. Very friendly staff who will cook to your specification

También pedí una comida de hamburguesa a las 8. 50 se olvidaron las fichas, así que 8. 50 para una hamburguesa es muy caro. Este desorden ordenado sucedió en 2 ocasiones distintas, parece ser una nueva tendencia en este restaurante.

No.1 Belfast is a great little restaurant in the heart of Stranmillis. Our family each had the "3 Taco" offer and the food was superb! Great flavours with all of the fillings and complimented by the seasoned fries. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Was here for a event. Cant believe in a pre arranged event they ran out of Guinness before 11pm... particularly since from what I could see there was very little Guinness sold...I wonder could the barman just not be bothered changing the keg???

Friendly people. Had a great time. Great music. They encouraged everyone to have a good time. The bartender danced when they werent busy keeping the beer flowing.I actually made a few new friends in the few short hours there. Going back to Belfast in July next year. It's on my list to stop for few.

Beautiful spot. Very friendly owner and staff..comfortable and relaxing. Gorgeous coffee delicious sandwiches particularly the white bread very good quality!! Atmosphere great ! Absolutely spotless !!lovely decor ! Look forward to next visit !

I cannot recommend The Arches Cafe enough!!!! I am so so thankful to Sammy and the team. Sammy and crew catered our wedding: afternoon tea, three course meal and a buffet meal for night time guests! They were AMAZING every single step of the way. My husband and I wanted to make our wedding our own and Sammy just went with us and helped with everything. So so thankful to the team for making our day so special! Service was incredible Food was incredible Sammy is incredible 💛 Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What has happened to this place? Use to be great and popular. Bacon, limp, wet, cold and fatty - sat in water presumably. Soda bread not adequately fried just greasy and warm. Sausages burnt and tasteless. Next time I'll grab a Greggs sausage roll and hot chocolate. At least I know it'll be good.
