Biddy Duffy's in Belfast

I ordered the steak and guiness pie. What I got was gravy covered in cheesy mash which had been microwaved and served in a cereal bowl. I don't understand how they thought this was exceptable. My lunch was hot as it had been microwaved but the other lunches were cold. The two tables beside us had to send food back as it was cold. One of my family ordered a chicken noodle dish it was more like a starter with little to no veg in the dish. Very poor altogether ill not be back. They did take the price of the pie off the bill but that was the least they could do the waitress was lovely and friendly

Took my elderly mother here. Other than having to negotiate stairs,it was worth it. Lovely waitress, went out of her way as did the chef as we were officially too late for an Ulster Fry, but they served it up. Wouldn't push my luck a second time but they were lovely to do it for us. Couldn't fault a thing other than wheelchair access, though I've a feeling they'd get a few burly guys to lift you up the stairs or let you sit in the bar to eat. Brilliant.

Just had a beautiful meal in a relaxed and spotless stylish setting. Great smiles from the staff and great service What more could ya want?

Once again we visited biddys bar & bistro. This is a hiding gem in West Belfast with lovely food a nice bunch off staff the pints were great my wife had the cocktails which she enjoyed plus again they looked after my we man .Don't hesitate to visit here we love it .

Hidden gem upstairs in Biddys, this place not only looks great but is run to perfection. The food was lovely, well presented and fast, friendly service. Have visited a few times now and will definitely be back again. Well done Biddys!

Great meal at Biddys Bar and Bistro! Food for all the family and the new pizza menu is a must, authentic Italian pizzas at great prices. The service was excellent too they couldn’t have done enough for us, can’t wait to return!

My husband and I went here for a midweek treat, place was spotless and all covid restrictions in place. Husband had chicken wrap and I had the steak, never had a meal like it was high quality food and staff were excellent. Brilliantly priced with 2 courses for 9.95. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

we came here before we left Belfast to head home to Dublin and im delighted we did the place was spotless great social distancing without making it feel like your in a cage or distancing from life its a really homely feel to the place, the food was lovely and great value 15 pounds for 3 course meal ya wouldn't get that down south,also have to say that the staff in there were all so lovely they all paid us so much attention, next time we visit we will definitely stopping by

Have wanted to try here for ages after being recommended by my friends. It didn't disappoint. It's easy to access, has parking nearby and a traditional pub. We arrived after work so probably after 6pm where we had the place to ourselves so were shown a table quickly. I noted the 2 courses for £10 which usually runs out at the weekend but here it wasn't. The offer runs from Thurs-Sun which is fabulous! Drink orders were taken quickly, a pink gin WKD for me & the usual Guinness for himself. The menu selection was unreal, honestly took me 10 mins or more to decide while keeping the friendly waitress waiting. She was extremely helpful in advising me what to get. I opted for the pork ribs & chicken goujons for starters which came with the most delicious garlic dip. I never order this but it came highly recommended. The waitress even brought me a bowl of warm water with lemon to wash my hands in afterwards. Nice touch! My partner went for the soup with a bread roll (happened to be veg, his favourite). For mains, I ordered the beef & bird sizzler after much mind changing. Seriously, it all sounds delicious. He ordered the roast beef & Yorkshire pudding. It didn't take long at all to make it's way to us & down our throats. At that point, a small family with a kid & more couples started to come in which was nice. The place has a warm atmosphere, I felt really cosy. The food offer is 2 courses each for £10 but for an extra £3 you can have dessert which we did. I had the strawberry pavlova & he had the chocolate fudge cake. Overall it was a lovely restaurant experience & we'll certainly be back. There are other offers on as well like 2 steak dinners for £20 & a btl of wine with it for £10. The various cocktail daiquiris looked delicious too. One thing I will say apart from the friendly staff & great service is that the food is of good quality for that price it's amazing. Thanks to you all at Biddy Duffy's!!!

This place food is lovely and the staff could not be more helpful nice place for a lunch and a nice pant of beer

Ambiente agradable, personal amable y muy limpio. Menciono la limpieza porque el bar adjunto que está abajo ciertamente no huele a limpio al pasar. Recomendaría el restaurante

Regular visitor to 'Biddys' and always come away feeling satisfied with both the food and service. Larry and the team always helpful and the new decor has a real homely feel about the place. Keep up the great work

We came here for the 2 course lunch menu to try it out and it was nice. Great price also. I had the chicken wings for started which where very nice and had the Cajun chick wrap thing for main which I didn't enjoy to much because of the bread. My partner had the chicken goujons and said they where great. It's worth trying and will try the dinner next time

Turned up here on a busy Easter Sunday without a booking. They found us a table and were very helpful and friendly. The food was very good, the 3-course set menu excellent value. Atmosphere, decor etc all very good too. Will be back

Organizamos una fiesta de cumpleaños callejera sorpresa 21 en Biddys. El personal era genial incluso antes de la mano con la decoración y en la noche también eran increíbles. La comida del buffet era muy buena y mucho para todos, y las bebidas eran bastante baratas en comparación con los precios en estos díasEl gerente, Larry era un chico encantador, muy servicial.Sin duda volveremos a probar sus almuerzos!

Almorcé hoy aquí con la familia para celebrar nuestra hija resultados al GCSE. Esta es mi tercera o cuarta vez en Biddys y nunca me ha decepcionado. 2 cursos de 6 libras. 95. Este es uno de los mejores almuerzos que podría haber en cualquier lugar en Belfast y sin duda volveré. Es la mejor comida que he tenido relación en cualquier lugar. El personal es muy amable.

Fuimos a almorzar hoy, y tengo que decir que la comida era muy sabrosa! Definitivamente nos gustaría volver. Mi única observación sería, las patatas fritas eran algo grasienta - que estamos desagradable, pero si buscaba criticar la comida. Yo diría el hongo, y probablemente eran los mejores que he tenido en un largo tiempo.La única cosa que me gustaría decir, no han conseguido para cambiar pañales para hombres - son sólo en los aseos de señoras. Esto es realmente dissapolibting, teniendo en cuenta que hay familias y niños como alternativa tienen dos daddies! Se tradujo en la dificultad para cambiar a mi hijo! !Realmente no puedo diss la comida, porque era precioso, había sido sólo una revisión sobre la comida hubiera dieron 4 o posiblemente 5!

Estuve yendo a Biddy Duffy's durante años. No hace mucho que nunca me ha decepcionado. Me encantaron los Buddy Duffys. Ojalá no volviera el día anterior. Cuando obtuve mi usural, mis papas saben a queso. El gammon era grasoso y gomoso. fue hamburguesa de pollo completamente cruda que mi compañero estaba lleno de grasa y el queso era inmejorable y como goma las alitas de pollo estaban simplemente sacando la pasta y las costillas eran un hueso con aderezo parecía bonito pero sabía a comida para perros. . la camarera nunca antes vista rubia con anteojos muy grosera e inútil nueva no nos gustó porque Harley comió algo que estaba esperando en ella diciéndole cómo era tu comida, ya que siempre hacen una presentación que ella sabía y no preguntó mientras escribo esto ahora estoy atascado en Tolet con #liquidpoop #llevar el medallón

This place is that good we go here at least twice a week... the food is great and it is great value for money..staff are very helpful and the place caters for children..all in all a great spot and great value for money

I've never been disappointed after visiting here. Always delicious food, amazing daiquiris and brilliant atmosphere. Plus, very great value for money!

Hemos estado en el Biddy tomar Duffys unas cuantas veces para comer y siempre ha sido una gran experiencia. La comida es deliciosa y a un precio muy razonable. El personal siempre fue muy atento y servicial. Normalmente nos ve como un grupo grande y esto nunca ha sido un problema. He recomendado a todo el mundo.

Este lugar es genial, mi mamá es muy exigente, pero le encanta! El personal es muy agradable y cálido, que muestran la auténtica hospitalidad irlandesa. La comida es genial! Pedimos el menú del almuerzo de, tuve el bistec med/bien. En general, estaba bien, pero algunas partes de la carne era más bien hecho, lo achaco a que el bistec de ser muy largo y delgado. Madre tenía la carne asada y mis dos hermanas tenían la lasaña! No hay fallas en el lugar! Sin duda lo recomendaría y volvería!

Had lunch which was nice but my grandmother couldn't eat her meat as it was tough, the manager cleared our table and asked was everything ok, we told him that she couldn't eat the meat because it was tough, he said ok, didn't apologise, didn't take it off the bill or offer any thing. Waitress's couldn't have been nicer but the management need to sort themselves out and maybe ask their staff for some customer service tips.

I have visited Biddy's on quite a few occasions. The food and service are always excellent! 2 courses for £5.95, portions are generous for this price. I would recommend the mushrooms or ribs for starters and the chicken burger for main. Staff always very polite and efficient (especially Larry!). I would also recommend the Biddy's fry (served until 1pm) I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My family and I have had many beautiful family meals in this establishment. Great food. Marvelous service. Very reasonable prices. Please check it out if you haven't already tried it.

Had a nice lunch in here but it is basic. Staff were excellent and the room has improved from previous visit. Toilets need a lot of work

My family and I have been regulars to biddy Duffys for years, we were all on first name basis with the staff and enjoyed the banter with them as we did the food.The past 6 months or so all those lovely waitresses are gone and the place is just too rowdy to enjoy a meal.It does 2 courses for 5.95 and the food is nice and I can't fault that but after yesterday my family and I won't be back. The restaurant was packed and there was a family with a group of 5 children all primary school age who were running buck mad all over the place and some climbing over the seats to the seating area of other diners table, whilst the group of four adults just sat there and rather than get up and get the children decided to shout all over the place at them. We were there for over an hour and this went on the whole time, not once did any of the waiting staff approach the family and try and politely resolve this. Other customers were as annoyed as us as we could see the table opposite us rolling their eyes.All we could hear was swearing and we were about 5 tables away from them.we used to go once or twice a week but due to the changes lately we haven't been going as much but after yesterday don't think I'd be back as it is just too rowdy now and the waiting staff don't seem to do anything about it. I shouldn't have kids running around my table whilst I'm trying to have a meal with my family.Whilst I do appreciate it's the fault of the parents I do believe when the parents are allowing this type of behaviour the staff should politely intervene.Feel so bad writing such a negative review as it was one of our family favourites.

I had lunch here with friends and if you want value for money this is the place for you. 2 courses for £5.95. The portions are generous and you can choose between a starter and main or a main and dessert. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has been recently refurbished. All in all an enjoyable lunch
