The best restaurants in England

This is a great restaurant, the staff cannot do enough for you and make you feel comfortable from the go get. The food was delicious 😋. We had never tried Ethiopian food before, we were very impressed. This place is a must.

We’ve had Kooked.north a few times now, both the frozen meals and the hot lunch menu. We recently travelled up to Wooler from Alnwick just to sample the lunch menu which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the soup and I had a sausage flatbread which was tasty and filling. The frozen meals were a godsend when we recently had our first child, after a long day of baby feeding and changing nappies it was lovely to be able to put the meals straight into the oven in the knowledge that we were eating healthy, locally sourced meals with minimal effort on our part. My absolute favourite item on the menu is the sticky toffee pudding (I wasn’t even a fan of sticky toffee before I tried this and now it’s my absolute favourite dessert). The owner, Laura, is so passionate about her meals and you can tell that every effort has gone into creating the best flavours with the best ingredients. I just wish the meals were more local to us because I’d be there every lunchtime!

Puede que no complazca a los puristas, ya que se sale de la caja del ramen japonés tradicional, pero lo hace de la mejor manera posible. Honestamente, no puedo esperar a que vuelva a abrirse después de la pandemia, para poder probar más platos.

(Note: this restaurant is also known as 'siOn') We booked because the restaurant was within walking distance of Dulwich College - but not without trepidation as the website is aimed at diners forty or more years younger than some of us. We need not have worried, we were all made very welcome. siOn was taken into five-star territory by the quality of the food, which was excellent. We ordered a wide variety of 'smalls' and 'sides', eaten tapas-style, not a duff amongst them. Music a bit on the loud side, no hot drinks, short wine list, great cocktails. Friendly, attentive and responsive staff. No automatic service charge. An easy five stars.

Visited this morning. Had walked passed on our walks. Mum was visiting so as such a nice day decided to stop and have a drink and cake. Well what can we say lovely coffee afternoon tea and service with a smile. Will be back.

I go to the bar almost everyday because it’s close to me the people there are very nice and I especially like the drinks :)

Muy buena comida, limpia, moderna y no demasiado cara. Corrido por un buen chico que siempre es amable y hablador. Millas mejor que el lugar de sandwich en la misma cuadra.

Duke and the rest of the staff are so lovely. They will repair your bike and not let you leave until it works perfectly. I came in on a Saturday expecting I wouldn’t be able to cycle in to work the following week because it would take a while to repair but as soon as I mentioned it was for work they made it a priority and I got to collect it at 4pm on the same day. Duke knows his stuff and does not mind explaining in detail what he’s doing to your bike and why he needs to do that. Overall could not recommend it more :)

I call many Times to buy Meat Pies and cakes which are all to die for, the ladies behind the counter are second to none great lovely people the problem is i go more and more

Don’t let the scaffolding put you off, this place is a hidden Gem! Lovely couple that own the place (the wife is from the Seychelles and is the main cook). Fresh juices are to die for and the breadfruit I had was just so delicious. Red snapper cooked to perfection and my husband loved his curry. We even left with a free Seychelles jetting and fridge magnet,

Came here with some friends for lunch. The food was freshly prepared and delicious and the staff were so lovely and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the coffee was also very nice. Will definitely be coming again.

Basándome en varias visitas diría que esto es un cambio en la experiencia del Bubble Tea. Casi escondido junto al Restaurante de la Felicidad se encuentra Utepia, y definitivamente tiene un 'vibra', así como una gran selección de tés, la Matcha y la leche Oolong son muy agradables, también el personal es muy acogedor y amable.

AMAZING!! Jo really knows how to make the world’s yummiest hot choclate and Jo”s customer service is incredible she is so polite and on top of that the best baker!! Please go to Jo’s coffee shop it’s fab!

Great food. You must try the Brie and bacon baguette it was as tasty as it could be. Bursting with flavour. Friendly staff.
