Probably the best sushi I have had outside of Japan. An unassuming little place with no alcohol license but with customers packed in tightly because they know this place is a gem. So many places these days over-do the sushi with garnishes, sauces etc. knowing that they’re destined for instagram. Instead this place serves sushi as it should be; simply fish and rice with the flavours and quality of ingredients doing the talking. The menu is great with a selection of fish rarely seen in other sushi restaurants. We will definitely be back!

I heart this place so much. The owner is a local legend who is enthusiastic about his shop. The cheeses are fab and there is a wide selection. The crackers, salamis and olives are top drawer and this is my go to local deli. There is a great brew pub next door if you are into your brews and it makes a nice 4pm round trip

Lovely and extremely tasty food. Very reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful in selecting the dishes and the food is in plenty. Lovely atmosphere too. Definitely will visit again.

We booked a table for a special mid-week dinner at Rogues having been intrigued by the seasonal menu. The Restaurant is short walk from both Cambridge Heath and Bethnal Green, with such a humble edifice, that you can miss the entrance, as we did initially. We were seated by a wonderful waitress, who seated us in a wonderfully subtle restaurant, that had a chic minimalistic atmosphere. The menu presented to us was both interesting and varied in the flavour combinations. The menu is designed for diners to choose a number of small plates from which to share, which some may not be to some people's tastes. There are no starters at Rogues, instead these are replaced by "Bites", you will have to order one of each "Bite" per person. These were very well balanced and left us wanting to order more, but more importantly excited for the food to follow. I should also add that we chose to order from the a la carte menu, but there is a set menu available, which was very reasonably priced at £59 per person. "Bites" are then followed by the small plates main courses. We opted for the Sourdough with Bovril butter, Cured Sea Trout, Katsu Cod Collar, Barbecued Cabbage and Kimchi, and the Highland Rump. I believe the menu is seasonal and subject to change so these may not be available at the time of your visit. I enjoyed all of the dishes, but some of the flavours could be a little overpowering for some plates, although I really all of the dishes. Our personal favourites, were the Sourdough, which was incredibly light, the Cured Sea trout, which my wife loved, but I felt there needed to be more of the dill pickle to balance out the bitterness of the grapefruit, and the Katsu Cod Collar, which I really enjoyed but my wife, thought the flavours were too strong. From pricing perspective, we paid c. £60 per head with a glass of wine each, which for a fine dining experience is very good. I would highly recommend Rogues, for anyone who is really enjoys fine dining, the seasonal menu is unique, offers great variety for dinners at whichever time of year they chose to attend. I would rate it as 4.5/5.

Absolutely delicious food, what a treat to find such tasty dishes instead of the usual bland ones.We had our meal delivered by Just Eat (another treat!) food arrived quickly and was still hot. We’ll certainly be regulars now!

Such a charming little place. The staff seem to know everyone by name so obviously a regular clientele. Such a shame it will close on 21st. I’m sure it will be missed as seems like a real community hub

This place is absolutely perfect. Stunning cafe venue, sometimes with relaxing live music during the day. I live quite far away but I sometimes make it across on a Friday afternoon for the free jazz. There is nothing better than having a lovely coffee and cake, listening to some gorgeous saxophone and piano. The food is always wonderful. Check out their Facebook because they do some exciting special events, which I will get to one day!! Well done for keeping this old church open and creating something so beautiful. Keep up the good work!

Cibo!!! What a great hidden gem this is. This little Deli/Kitchen hidden away off the beaten track offers great Italian breakfast and lunch. I had a Tuscan Hash for breakfast which was great. Lovely flavour combinations of spicy chorizo balanced with a sprinkle of tangy parmasan cheese and toasted ciabatta for texture. My wife ordered the hangover which consisted of a fried hens egg, tuscan sausage which was great, small fried potato balls, crispy streaky bacon with a bloody mary ketchup which really livened up the whole dish. Our server Silvana was very professional and accomodating to our needs. We were very impressed and will deffinatly return in the future. Cibo is very authentic and reasonably priced its well worth a visit.
