The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

I have been here many times now, especially recently this March. Previously me and my family have been to their ice cream parlor during the summer. The Ice creams are always super creamy and delicious. They also have many animals out during the warmer months, like goats, chickens, rabbits, ponies, and more. I've been quite a few times to their café, and a couple of times I've had my lunch there. All of their food is so fresh and tasty, and they have plenty of options for vegans and anyone who's gluten free. They have a lovely variety of cakes, and it's the best place to go to if you love cheesecakes. I enjoyed their white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake so much that I had another slice the next time I came back (but you definitely need a massive sweet tooth/sugar tolerance for that one). The staff are extremely friendly and always up for a nice chat. The prices are great, and the environment is always cozy and warm. It's a great place to go if you prefer smaller, quieter spaces.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Amazing cheese, always a great variety that changes on a regular basis. Always a lovely selection of wine at very reasonable prices. Love that there’s so much local produce. I won’t go anywhere else to buy cheese. I literally drive from Manchester to stock up. A beautiful, cosy shop with a lovely owner who is super helpful and knows her stuff!

Amazing, simply put. Found this place through Google as I wanted a bite to eat whilst my dad was in the nearby hospital. Met with very friendly service, recommended their big mac and loaded fries. Portions were sizeable and the food was so tasty. Will definitely have to come back with the family!

Llamé para tomar unas copas en una tarde de domingo muy soleada. Gran selección de bebidas y ambiente maravilloso, con música muy cool. Disfrutamos de unas horas preciosas viendo pasar el mundo. El personal fabuloso y la comida se veía increíble, desafortunadamente teníamos otros planes para comer en otro lugar.

Vino por primera vez. Impresionantemente limpio ordenado café bien presentado que conduce directamente a la Trinidad misma. Ambiente fantástico entre toda la historia y el casco antiguo. Personal muy amable y un gran servicio. Disfrutamos de una olla de té, café negro grande y un delicioso rollo de salchicha hecho a mano. Instalaciones sanitarias limpias y modernas. Asegúrate de echar un vistazo a la Trinidad en sí y la visualización de los objetos encontrados mientras el cementerio de Castle Street fue desenterrado.

Ossian very helpful, polite and friendly. Great baguettes, and breakfast pastries in our good to go bag. Upper crist easy to find on station concourse

Very welcoming tea room. Greeted as soon as we walked into the room. Very tidy and clean. A great choice of food. Lovely hot coffee. Two rooms upstairs, if needed. It's the first time we have been, but we will be back.

We have visited The Doorstep Deli on a number of occasions and at various times of the day both eating in and takeaway. The breakfasts are fantastic both for quality and value, everything is cooked fresh and to order. The breakfast menu has a good choice for every appetite. The lunches are also delicious, each day having a different special with the roast pork sandwich being a particular favourite. There is also a good selection of cakes available if you just fancy popping in for coffee and cake. The takeaway Sunday lunches are also fantastic!! The staff are lovely, so welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely would recommend a visit!

Came here with my boyfriend Gary, and what a fantastic place. Such a good idea with the lockers, we had a lovely table, candle was replaced immediately, the atmosphere is just right and nice back ground music.. Service quick and efficient and the toilets were spot on, clean, tidy, well maintained (I cannot stand a wonky loo seat) lovely soap. We have put our names on the wait list for a locker and I look forward to coming back. Thank you James.

very good food, thoroughly enjoyed, and i have ordered here a few times, i would recommend though removing tea/coffee option for the kids breakfast and add some pop instead

Tuvimos un desayuno fabuloso aquí, estaba delicioso. Había aplastado el aguacate en tostadas con huevos escalfados. Mi amiga tenía Huevos Benedict y dijo que el suyo también estaba delicioso. Absolutamente perfecto! La comida y las bebidas eran agradables y calientes y el personal era muy amable y atento. Sin duda lo volvería a visitar en el futuro. Jo y Jill de Nottingham

Literally the best sandwich shop around for miles. I work all over Yorkshire and have tried a lot of sandwich shops and none come close to this one for me. 11/10 food 11/10 staff please never change 💛
