The best restaurants in Derwent York Yorkshire and The Humber

Gyros was nice but the place is not child friendly or adaptive. Asked for a child’s tuna sandwich which arrived, two plain slices of bread with dry tuna placed in the middle. No sauce or butter. Was shocked on paying to be charged £9 for this, and when questioned was told we COULD have had the full tuna sandwich on home made bread and side dish so that’s why it was still full price. Very over priced and not child friendly menu.

Happy tummies and happy children; reasonable priced and a friendly atmosphere. Will come again the food was lush!

Good honest cafe with good food, good price and great staff.

Been buying fish and chips here for years but decided this is the last time. Greasy as fish not drained, batter soggy, fish thin and prices way too high now. Not value for money. Stuart's in Pocklington better.

Found this little gem by accident but so glad we did. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming. I had the surf and turf and the hubby the mixed grill, very generous portions and very well cooked. I asked for some water for the car and they were more than helpful even bringing out for us. Thank you.

Actually one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I had the garlic base..with pepperoni, jalapeños, and pineapple .. (just love the contract with the spice and pineapple. Was absolutely delish!
